Know much about these?

Ok so here are my engine specs off the metal plate near my engine:

ENGINE DISPLACEMENT: 49cc
ENGINE FAMILY: 9YYGC.049BZU
PERMEATION FAMILY: 9YYGPMETALB1

ENGINE TUNE UP SPECIFICATIONS:
IGNITION TIMING: 13º±1.5ºbtdc
IDLE SPEED: 1500rpm ± 100rpm
IDLE MIXTURE: NON ADJUSTABLE <-- Is this a problem??
VALVE CLEARANCE: 0.08mm
SPARK PLUG:NGK/C7HSA
SPARK PLUG GAP: 0.6-0.7mm

Do you guys know much about these engines? are they pretty common? what are some cons to this engine? Thanks

its a 139qmb just like all the others.

if it has a sealed carb replace it with a good one asap. sealed carbs run lean and hot which burns the rings up.

cons? little power but thats to be expected from a true 49cc engine.

Not all '50cc' chinese scooters are really 50cc though. some are 63cc and a very few are 72cc. The secret 72cc days have all but come to an end really. I have a few left.

i tried to talk to wife into letting me buy one of the 'secret 72's 'but we are getting ready for a child and didnt wanna spend the money right now...

how would i go about finding a replacement carb and how would i go about doing it?

1. take seat bucket off
2. unplug choke
3. some carbs have the style of drain hose that is secured down on one of the cvt cover bolts. remove screw to unsecure it.
4. unhook throttle cable
5. unhook intake hose from airbox at the carb
6. loosen the clamp on the intake manifold and remove carb.
7. unhook gas line from the carb
8. drain the bowl into your gas tank

reverse procedure to install. after installing take the vacuum line off the intake manifold and suck on it to open the fuel petcock to fill the bowl with gas.
