Yeah. Just did this one at the beginning of last season (or was it the one before that?). Haven't used it much because of Kerosene prices. Just went back out and there are chunks of soot on everything. I'll be glad when it's warm enough that I feel like spending a day or two cleaning in there. lol

I thought I'd get a little more done today, but didn't end up getting that far. My original plan was to install the engine shrouds, exhaust, and get the engine bolted in. I didn't remember just how rough one part of the shroud was until I dug it out though. It got burned bad when I tried to run without the cooling fan shroud for just a short tuning pass some time ago (forget why I was that dumb now?). It's taped up and still doesn't really fit right, so I'm gonna order a new one. I did at least cut a new exhaust gasket. I used some gasket material with metal inside. I traced out the outline and cut that with scissors. Then I used a punch to mark the bolt locations, and drilled those. Once they were drilled out, I bolted the gasket to the header. Then I drilled a hole in the center and used a cutting bit to match the gasket to the header. I used a razor to clean up the rough edges. The little rings that get compressed sure are a lot easier... but hopefully the big port is worth the effort.

Got it fired up today... Between the first clip and the baby burnout, I went out in the yard and did some muddin'. lol Now you see why I never bothered to clean anything up too well. I made one trip 1/8 mile-ish and back. No tuning, I think running rich.

I might have been really close had I not swapped mains. It had a 102 in it from when it was last running, but I went to a 108 to be on the safe side before I reassembled it. It's off down low too I believe. Yesterday was 55 degrees, today is 33. I may or may not get it tuned anytime soon.

I forgot I had a Trail Tech tach around that I got for T2 when they were on sale. I still need to run the wire, but I got it mounted at least. I made the mount from an M8 bolt, an old scrap bracket, and the nut from a rear view mirror.
