Well despite it being a b#tch to get tuned right and the high price, this topic is great reading material and very educational for us scooter freaks. It also shows all the marketing talk and pro's don't really apply to small scooters. Like i said before, Brent is basically a pioneer and the biggest plus is he reports and explains everything he encounters. You're doing a great job dude, keep it up! And keep burning them dollars so we don't have to

You must have deeper pockets than me. I can't even afford to look at a site like that. Work of art though. 👌

Just got an email from ScooterTuning that the piston is out of stock at the supplier (backordered) and will be delayed. Ordered it 1/19/21 and it's currently 3/24/21.

I was trying to get a C piston, because I was "lucky" enough to get a B cylinder and piston originally. People have posted other sources that may have them. I was just trying to deal with ScooterTuning.Ca as much as I can.

I totally understand wanting to use scooter tuning.ca. Maxiscoot does in fact have “C” pistons in stock as well if you can’t get one otherwise. I hope this works out for you.

If you order from maxi scoot/scooter attack (what’s the difference anyway??? Seriously?) it’ll ship next day but sit in customs for three weeks. I was so aggravated when I ordered the stage 6 kit I ordered the Naraku just to ride around.

I guess I’ve been lucky so far. All of my parts have arrived within 3 days of ordering from Maxiscoot. This last order was fairly large and UPS had to charge me a $22 import fee. I’ve ordered from them multiple times and this was the first time I had to pay an import fee.
Today is Thursday and my parts will be here before 9pm according to the UPS website. They are listed as on the truck, ready for shipment. I placed the order on Monday during my lunch break. So roughly three days.
I just remembered that someone told me to always choose UPS for shipping. Apparently DHL takes a little longer.

I picked up a set of Aerox wheels. Don't have anything else to do that swap yet, but someday. The seller said the tires were "just used". That's why I decided to go with this seller instead of other options. I took that to mean barely used. Not sure what he meant now, because one tire is hard and dry rotted and the other is on all of the tread wear indicators. The thought of saving on tires turned into having to remove and dispose of 2 tires. Funny you mention this...I bought some Aerox wheels and an entire front fork setup from across the pond (not the wheel I got from you geoffh ) and when it arrived, it turned out that the seller and I had completely different definitions of “usable”. Bent tube, bent axle, deeply grooved rotor, and other issues. Thankfully, the seller is a standup guy and replaced all the bad parts with decent stuff. Thankfully the wheel was in good shape. I’m on several Aerox FB groups and I can tell you that a majority of Aerox owners aren’t as...careful...with their bikes as you or other around here may be. BTW, let me know when you want that 100cc rear wheel...I can be quite resourceful when I want to be.
