Just tell them, “I can’t, I’m on a list.” Don’t tell them it’s Santa’s nice list, just let them wonder. Geoff said,LOL, our current soap pod adverts carry the rider "keep away from children" but that's enough of this Brian ricks humor.

Oh, I already told the guy basically what I posted here. I try to be pretty straightforward with this stuff. I told him that being a scooter tech YouTuber is not like being a successful entertainment YouTuber. TOTALLY different leagues.

I got the Bell Qualifier DLX MIPS helmet in yesterday. XL fits well for the top of my head. It squeezes my cheeks a little too much. Glasses are very tight on the sides. One pair of mine would bend rather than go in. It may need XXL cheek pads (thinner) for me or it may break in. I wanted to ride before making any final decision and carrying on to put a helmet mount on it, so I took a ride on the TMAX around sunrise today.
The tightness on the sides wasn't as bad as I thought, but it did make my jaw a little sore after an hour ride. No headache so far and no great amount of redness on my forehead from pressure points. I think it may work for me.
Here's a bit of a review for anyone interested. The shield has a detent where it's open just a little, and that stayed open up to around 75-80MPH before it slammed shut. It doesn't feel like an incredibly secure closing, but it works. No real complaint from me. What's very cool about the shield is that it transitions from clear to tinted with sunlight. It seems to work quite well and sunrise was a good test. It was just mildly darkened as I rode away from the sunrise and fully darkened going into it. It never got too dark for me in any scenario, even in town going in and out of shade and sun. My only complaint with the tint is that I wish it would get a little darker than it does. Riding into the sun would be improved if it would darken a bit more, but it's not bad. From past experience with mirrored, smoke and dark smoke shields; I'd say it's at least as dark as mirrored and smoke shields, but not quite as dark as dark smoke shields. Still, you'd really never have to change it. The shield isn't setup for pinlock and I don't know that they offer any for it that are. That could be an issue in colder weather.
The helmet feels OK overall. It doesn't feel high end, but it doesn't feel really cheap either. It has chin and top vents that open and close, but TBH they didn't feel terribly effective to me. I'm sure they're better than nothing. I like a lot of airflow though, which is why I ride with the visor at least partially open a lot with any helmet I've had.
Good field of view. Nothing special.
The chin strap seems extra long to me. When tightened, there's a fairly large loop leftover. Not a deal breaker at all to me, but I'm not sure why that's necessary. The chin curtain sits right under my chin, up against it. Any other helmets that I've had with chin curtains sat lower so they didn't actually touch me.
This is not a quiet helmet. To be fair, I've yet to own a quiet helmet. I tried closing all vents and the visor at 50MPH and there's still constant wind noise. The helmet didn't move my head all around at speed or anything. I could feel wind moving me a little, but again pretty average compared to other helmets that I've had and the TMAX is pretty bad aero-wise for the rider IMO.
If you like to mount a camera right up front and center on helmets, it looks like there's plenty of room to make something work. The vent doesn't take up the whole front like some helmets. I'll be able to tell you for sure before too long.

Hopefully with a bit of use, it should fit better. You can get a universal pinlock if there is not one specific for your model. It gives you a template to drill the visor for the pegs.

The troubleshooting vid is up : youtu.be/psl2yMPIFnAI usually post here as it goes up on YouTube, but I scheduled the vid and then I was busy till just now. That one guy in the comments on the new video, if you only knew how simple it was not I just saw that. Assuming it must be this one... " Greatest Evar • 3 hours ago (edited) You made content; but all of this is the wrong way to tune anything.
Just get an exhaust temperature readout and call it a day. You need to read some tuning books dude; this is just amateur hour.
Are you that dude that sent a "built" engine to scooterswapshop and claimed they blew it up? Cause your blind confidence in this...overcomplicated yet still fundamentally wrong method of "testing" is almost irritating to know exists let alone to watch.
If engine building is your interest; You need professional instruction and training. But knowing your type; you think you got it all figured out.
But this is why you had to buy an engine for it to work.
Why not just get a real bike at this point? You are way too grown to be this inexperienced." His name says it all. He's delved so deeply to know my type, but he doesn't even realize there's a big ass EGT gauge right on the bars and I even mentioned EGT. He says I need professional instruction and I think he may need professional help. What some people don't get is that I'm honest with what I do. I do make mistakes. Probably more than I should for as much time as I've been doing this stuff. I could easily not show any of this or post about it and pretend I'm the greatest ever... like nearly everyone else does. Instead, I keep hoping that my experiences can help others and if stuff works for me then you know exactly what works rather than the "pros" that won't give straight answers about jetting or CVT tuning or whatever. I also just got a comment minutes ago about how my gearbox should blow up anytime now because it has a bearing that's not a bearing in there. (Assuming it's the extra bearing that Ryan and I used in both of ours.) I told him if it does blow up, it probably should because of how I ride it. They did get me on the paper filter. That one went on backwards. I saw no arrow in real life. I can look at the video like them and see it now. I regularly notice things when editing or watching it back that I just didn't see unmagnified.

He just trying to pull your leg. That guy's not serious, just having a strange sense of humor. Please don't respond, it'll make you look dumb. I thought that too, but responded anyway. The problem is, some people will read it and then think I am whoever he's talking about buying engines and complaining about them. I hate to delete all of the negative comments like I'm hiding something. I did just go back and block his comments from my whole channel though. He responded to other comments trying to defend me that he was being stalked by one of them because they looked at his channel and that this forum is dead and that scoots are for kids and we should get real bikes. He'll have to take his trolling elsewhere. What a dumb hobby; stirring up drama on YouTube. He should take his own advice and read some books instead.

Yes when people comment things like buy a real bike. They just don't get it. We could all go and buy something faster. But the fun and challenging part is making something slow fast. Riding a 1000cc sports bike, nobody will look twice as they expect it to be fast. But when T2 takes off and leaves people's jaws wide open. That's the fun bit.

Riding a 1000cc sports bike, nobody will look twice as they expect it to be fast. But when T2 takes off and leaves people's jaws wide open. That's the fun bit. I was just editing the bike week stuff a bit and watching one of my Harley races. I got one by about 2 bikes through his 1st gear, he pulled up just behind me in second and started leaving in 3rd. Granted, it was a dude and likely his wife on the bike... but how big is that engine? Better yet, the woman on the bike is looking at the other bikers like "are you seeing this?" with a smile and well after that was over they were behind me again and laughing and looking at each other. That's really fun to see. Not just willing to try out the scoot at the light, but surprised and enjoying the result. I'm not a Harley fan by any means, but those are my kind of people. If I did that on a sport bike, it's just what's supposed to happen.

Since anyone following this thread has heard tales of the unsanctioned "H2Oi" car shows... Quick recap. They were in Ocean City, MD each year where I go for most car and bike shows. It used to be fun, but they went nuts. Fireworks, taking over the streets totally, and then it got to having the town shutdown by police after some police were attacked. The town towed tons of cars and gave out huge fines, but ultimately it was the folks that wanted to start a riot that ruined it. Moving ahead to today; they decided to go to Wildwood, NJ this year. I just checked to see how it was going there. Not great...

The videos I’ve seen I want nothing to do with those so called events, especially on 2 wheels. It’s all about who can be the biggest idiot on social media.
