I forget the exact specs, though John prob knows them and I think they're posted somewhere in the 28 pages of this thread. The pipe was actually designed for the original thought of a 75cc engine that didn't last long (Polini Sport on a 45mm crank) to rev to 11,200RPM IIRC. After having some trouble getting it to hit, John sent me an extension to weld into the belly (which I did a lousy job of as you can see by the "birdpoo" on the old section). My cylinder is 196 exhaust, 136 transfers. It likes to hang around 10-11K and will rev to about 12,000RPM. Power doesn't come on till around 8,000RPM.

I got the pipe back from 190mech a couple of days ago after repairs and a new stinger/silencer setup. Looks great! Thanks again John! Did a little baby burnout, smoking with the Peace Pipe! :burnout:

I haven't rode for what feels like an eternity to me, 23 days. That was when the pipe broke. Before that a belt broke on a ride. It's been about 2 months since I rode Project 90 with any success. I'm going nuts so I wanted to just take an easy ride on T1 since the pipe is back and try to make it home. Just a quick ride, like 20 miles maybe.
I started it, pushed it out to warm up. 30 seconds later it died. No biggie, just turn the choke off and fire it back up... or not. Kick starter stripped. I said fudge this piece of sheet and pushed it back in the garage. I love it.

What no electric start? That's like a guy that doesn't have texting on his phone. No seriously though, sorry about all your bad luck lately.

I finally got all the plastic repaired and painted on the Derb only to find the front (behind the front wheel) fairing hits the fender when the wheel is turned to left lock. The ignition switch hole was not aligned with the rigidly mounted ignition/lock switch either. Took it back apart and then I broke the plastic tab the threaded metal clip goes on while trying to adjust things. Glued it with model glue then reinforced it with JB Weld and came in to watch the Skins/Cboys play football. You and me both got a long ride built up inside wanting relief. Tomorrow's gotta be better.... I hope.

I like electric start, but something about an extra 1lb on the crank for what's supposed to be a kinda quick scoot just doesn't seem right.

I took the kick start lever off today and both the lever and the gear are stripped. I wanted to ride so I just swapped the Venus' CVT cover on. I went for one ride of about 23 miles. I was quite happy to make it home for a change. I wanted to take another ride tonight, but it's raining. I still rode it 4 miles round trip to the gas station. I had planned to check the mileage, but I screwed that up. I filled it up, but by the time I was home it had settled down quite a bit. Normally I shake the scoot a bit to get the fuel to settle in, but I was distracted. It came out to 38MPG, again that's too high though. I was easy on it today too. lol
While I was getting gas some fool was making smart ass comments to his family, irritating me. "He thinks he's got something on that little sucker. Hahahaha." Not sure what whoever was in the vehicle said but then he said something about a toy. I dunno. That's the second time this has happened to me at the same place in a few months. I dunno if it's because it's really loud or because I wear a riding jacket with armor and a FF on the scoot or a combo. Seems to really happen on T1. I know everyone looks whenever it's running and I avoid towns because of that. It draws attention I don't want for sure. Regardless, I'd like to slap the fellow across his mouth... but no, I gotta just go on about my business and try not to be an idiot like him.

If an asshole calls you an asshole and you walk over and kick his ass trust me, he'll still think you're an asshole so you did the right thing not biting into his bullshit.
I usually take a couple gas cans to the station in the car and fill up my 2T at home so I can better control the mix.

In reality that dude likely wishes he could be riding a hotrod scoot with the right gear! Probably mad cuz his cheap 4t scoot is broke down at home and he can't fix it.  :stumped: It seems that the assholes are everywhere. I am always getting looks/stares/tudes when i FLY by them... I did get a 3 scoot following the other night with my S9. some young kids on a S9 that was BEAT TO SHIT. They were amazed at mine. :stumped: :wheelie: :burnout: :riding: To ALL the assholes out there

If an asshole calls you an asshole and you walk over and kick his ass trust me, he'll still think you're an asshole so you did the right thing not biting into his bullshit. Good point, and you really don't have to worry about me doing anything. I'm one of those folks that just likes to be left alone and will never understand why some people just can't do that. Hell, if you really wanna make a joke, just be nice enough to not be obnoxiously loud about it. It annoys me more than anything. I shoulda just waited for them to leave and passed them in the 50MPH zone. He woulda probably still laughed, but I woulda had fun doing it. I usually take a couple gas cans to the station in the car and fill up my 2T at home so I can better control the mix. That's what I prefer, but I can't always do that (especially liking long rides on scoots that only get 40MPG) and in this case I was trying to see what the mileage is. Much easier to do that when the pump tells you than guessing from a 5gal can.
