Cool! Looks like the oil "preserved" the motor for ya? I bet that puppy will run strong!

Looks good! You've got one hell of a pressure washer! Glad it made it safely unharmed the way it was wrapped.
Can't wait to see it fire. Do regular exhausts fit on these? I'm curious as to how the ATV exhausts bolt up. Does it use a regular mission case covering the trans? Looks pretty standard...

It was a layer of grease and then mud and cobwebs and nests and grass and... the aluminum was pretty much sealed in at that point. My pressure washer is 2500psi, nothing fancy. $250 on sale at Sears that my father and I split. Money well spent.
I like the CVT cover on this thing. Never had the kind with stock venting. I also dig the cover inside for the kick start stuff. I think it's the same as what you and 2strokd have.
I really don't think an ATV exhaust would fit, and don't have one to try. They probably are routed different because of the axle and such. Other standard minarelli exhausts should work. The retro styling is what might hold me back there.

Never had the kind with stock venting. I also dig the cover inside for the kick start stuff. I wasn't a big fan of the cover on the side for the kick start stuff, thought it was holding in heat. I stopped using the kick start for a long time, had it even disabled. Going to reinstall it soon, not sure if the little plate is necessary or not... That cover is vented pretty well stock, but there is always room for improvement (It definitely liked the slots I put around the clutch bell). I keep the filter off as well.

Whats up with that idle?? Sounds a bit off. Like the sound of the exhaust anyhow, besides the dun, dun, dun, dun, dun.

What carb ya gonna run?Is the stock 90 different than the 50 carb?I noticed some of the ATV's have a restrictive 'single plate' reed set up..How does the top end look thru the exhaust port? Can ya tell I'm excited?Huh? :spin:

I'm gonna use the Venus' carb. The 50 and 90cc scooter carbs were the same, so hopefully it'll do. Stock reeds are going anyway. Much rather use the aftermarket ones from the 70 than even good stock. I'm not gonna bother looking through the exhaust port... because I'm going to pull the top end and have a look. ;D
I dunno whats with the idle, but I saw vids of others idling like that too. Maybe it's soemthing to do with the big ATV exhaust?

Is the engine mount area the same as your long case Vento's? I'm still thinking about building a lightweight tube frame and wonder if either a short case or long case would swap into the same frame mounts...

Looks like the cases are the same, but they have different bushings that I'll have to swap out. I got the 70cc out. Just to show you what I was talking about with the harder fitment of pipes on the little retros... Here's how the MRP is setup up with a joint that allows me to swivel the pipe if necessary. I added a bracket extension to let me hang the pipe low. One other note about the 70 while I'm here... I noticed the belt has some material missing on the inside now. Not sure what that's all about. I swapped swapped parts so drum brakes will work on the 90cc and swapped gears. 90cc GearsPrimary = 15/47 = 3.133333333333333:1 Secondary = 11/31 = 2.818181818181818:1 Final Drive Ratio = 8.830303030303029:1 50cc GearsPrimary = 13/48 = 3.692307692307692:1 Secondary = 12/36 = 3:1 Final Drive Ratio = 11.07692307692308:1 I'm not seeing how the ATV reeds are different. I guess they aren't all restrictive. Left is 90cc stock, right is 50cc stock. I hate these heads, but I don't have a 52mm squish head around. Everything looks really good. I quit there tonight. I might round the exhaust port tomorrow. I'll probably check clearance and most likely leave out the head gasket on reassembly. I doubt I'll mess with anything else. Any other porting changes I'd do would make it like more revs rather than torque, so I think I'd be better off to leave it be.

Looks good! Im glad you got one with a very nice looking top-end! I would just clean up the exhaust port and try her out too! Gotta be a blast! Plus, i love a base-line! A base-line video is even better!

Looks like you got a Great Buy there!Glad to see the parts interchange well too! Maybe it was the 50ATV with the restrictive reeds??
