Nice "Ghost Rider" avatar! I'm getting a "video unavailable" prompt. Maybe still loading.

You could have a lot of fun with a bear costume. LMAO! Your a great tuner Brent. I never thought I'd see one of those wheelie without hanging off the back and a lot of tugging on the bars. I wish you were local to me so you could build up my engine. I don't trust myself and I really don't trust anyone else.

You could have a lot of fun with a bear costume. Nice one step. I said long ago I feel like the bear on the tricycle sometimes on the little scoots. LMAO! Your a great tuner Brent. I never thought I'd see one of those wheelie without hanging off the back and a lot of tugging on the bars. I wish you were local to me so you could build up my engine. I don't trust myself and I really don't trust anyone else. Dude... I know you could do it. You seem to have a great mechanical ability. I'd gladly give you every detail (I think I already have throughout the thread) of the setup I run if you ever wanted to try it. The crazy part of the wheelies is that I am sitting forward on the seat a lot of the time cause I don't want it to go nuts. If I sit back it comes up way faster than I'm comfortable with. I sure don't have the... guts... to pull it up so it's worse. lol I'm proud of the scoot, disappointed in myself. Makes me respect 2strokd and the guys that can really wheelie more. At least I don't take off now and get on and off to let it back down. I will let it hang as long as it doesn't get too high for me. lol Cool Vid!Looks like that old ATV motor is running very well!! I think everyone should put a motor like this in a small frame. It brings a smile to my face anyway. ;D

nice vid. Now you need to strap the cam to your ankle for a wheelie perspective.

I actually brought all of my mounting stuff with me and 3M'ed a mount to the floorboard side so I could get a shot from down low where you could see the scoot a bit. Problem is, I forgot my screwdriver. lol The GoPro has thumbscrews with a phillips head in the center. I always use the phillips head to be sure it stays in place, then it's too tight to remove with the thumbscrew.

That Venus was the perfect scoot to build on like that. It looks so innocent (but it's not), yes, it brings a smile to your face

Just a little update, since it's been a bit. If you followed the overrange variator thread, you know my homemade overrange failed after a few hundred miles. I messed with a stock variator for a bit, but that didn't go all that well. lol It wanted to rev like crazy, missing more than 1/4" of the drive faces. I saw as much as 10,800RPM in 1/8 mile at 43MPH. I modded both faces extensively. They did close up farther and use more of the faces, but I only got to 46MPH or so in the 1/8 mile, and still revved in the mid 10,000RPM range. I decided to cut the vari up to "extend the ramps" so to speak. It worked... for a moment. I went a bit too far and the weights flung out of the variator by the time I was at 35MPH or so, then it just chugged along. I stopped, it died, I pushed. lol Broke off part of the vari, scarred some rollers. I ended up going back to a Hoca vari that was lightly modded. It's tuned to rev very low. I was out tonight and moonlight or street lights let me see that I was doing 7000RPM cruising a little over 40MPH. At 55MPH I was at 8,1000RPM. It's a little sluggish at 40+ going from cruise to WOT, but I'd expect no less tuned so conservative. I checked my fuel mileage tonight and I go tthe highest mileage I've seen from a 90+cc with me riding (don't prepare to be shocked, it still sucks lol). I managed a whopping 48.3MPG average. This one was just barely above 40MPG last time I checked with a more aggressive tune.

To be honest, I don't know how you manage to get so much speed with such small variators. They must run out of travel at 35 or so.
