Yes, two challenges in one! Oh and I did get close to the station - I actually illegally parked to get the shot! haha. Just liked the one with the cop cars in the background better

Thanks . I was afraid of getting ticketed for going up onto the grass, for my burnt out taillight, missing turn signals, and no mirrors. I was pushing it back onto the street from the grass and a cop pulled up and asked if everything was okay. Seemed genuinely concerned about me being stranded then me doing something illegal. I like these city cops, they definitely aren't like the ones back in the boondocks.

I guess I shouldnt be too concerned about the cops. I was doing about 50 in a 25 zone when I saw a cop coming the other direction. He looked right at me, and didn't do anything.

I almost got the tag tonight, but I didn't have the balls. lol It was 11 something PM and the SunL is pretty loud. I couldn't bring myself to pull it in front of 10-15 Sheriff's cars. There's another town police station right across the street and more activity out there so I'd surely have to talk to a cop. The Preston Police station is just a cop car parked at a retirement home (seriously, I'm not kidding) so I didn't even bother with it.

Retirement home? Did the donut shop close down? Preston sounds like a quiet place.

Preston is pretty quiet... when I'm asleep. lol It's one of those towns with a low population, but the main road to a larger town runs through it so the gas stations do well. The liquor store does pretty well too... I don't drink, but I could see why you would around here. No donut shop for 10 miles. Poor cops. They sit around inside the gas station/Subway half the time. It would be easier to just make that the new town hall. I can see the sign as you walk in....

Oh and after looking at the SunL, it probably was best I didn't pull into the Sheriff's office since the header was leaking. It did seem pretty loud and everyone was staring more than usual. I actually had a Sheriff shine his light at me as I passed him while he ws looking at a parked car. I just looked straight ahead so I wouldn't notice if he motioned for me to stop. lol

I've really gotta get out and get a tag to keep this going. Between bad luck with scoots and issues around here I've had a hard time getting rides in this year.
