Now that looks nice. "Goo Gone " on the sticker stuff. Won't hurt paint, desolves sticky glues real well. You may have to work it around the edge to get started, or just use it for a final clean up of the residue.

Thanks Goosey. I tried some WD40 and had limited success. The reflector tape peeled right off easy but I decided to remove the reflectors and found that they're stuck on with a little foam disc with stick-em on both sides and that stuff is really good stick-em. I'll get some of that goo gone stuff. On a sadder note, I adjusted the valves because it was back firing and then I put the voltage meter on the battery while it was running and it read 12.86 volts and revving it read 12.87 volts. Prolly needs a new stator. Boo Hoo! The headlight bulbs need replaced. One has a high beam and one has a low so it changes sides when you flip to high. And the brake light is constantly ON and it has an oil leak. I knew there was evil lurking under that angelic exterior!

I like the 60W as a high beam in my friends. 45W works nice as the lowbeam. If you are thinking they need replaced because each only works one way, they don't. That's how that scoot is set up. I tried to tell my friend I thought the ticket might be to try two lower wattage bulbs and wire it up so both worked as high and low. If you wanted to upgrade your stator to an 11 or 12 pole it might handle two higher wattage bulbs. That would be pretty sweet. www.mfgsupply.com/m/c/search.html?mv_session_id=cCA67cpe&mv_profile=search_profile&mv_searchspec=headlight+bulb

I'm gonna try a new regulator from my collection of regulators before I order a new stator but before that I'm gonna take a couple days off. I've been working like a madman the last few days.

So I've been riding my Tank 150 all over Los Angeles the past few days and I can honestly say that it's a great running scooter. I trust the engine but the periferals are lacking. The speedo quit working because of the drive gear on the wheel. Some tweaking "fixed" it. The gas gauge is intermittent, and the right side brake light switch is intermittent as well. (Stays on sometimes) Other than that I like it very much. It's way faster than my Minarelli but I am not gonna sell that little gem. It's a great back-up.

LOL I might put it back for a while> POS! ;D What do you expect from China? I'm sure the fuel gauge is just a loose wire or the float's stuck or whatever and the brake switch can be handled with a little goop to hold it steady. My tube dried up so I have to get some more. I swear by the stuff: www.biosafe-inc.com/all_purpose.htm

That Goop, they have Shoe Goop, probably the same stuff. I used it on everything. Figure if it can keep an old shoe together it's good stuff.

Good deal all around. You never really felt the love for the 150, I could tell. The 2t you have now though, is not that much lower in speed than the 150, if the 2t does what you need, then yea, good deal.

Thats a good one drawk No lol, I meant MY 2 stroke doesn't go as fast. I just haven't taken it to the level that I want it at yet with the tuning. I'm sure everyone else's 2 strokes would burn the stock 150. I know yours would eat the 150 up. I want mine to be tuned like yours. I'll do my next setup a little better. I was using stock carb air box, reeds, intake. I'll set it up with Mikuni VM21 (from a KX65) ported intake, boost bottle, CF reeds, open filter, high spark coil, and sliders. Should do a little better after that, at least I hope. That's whenever the damn case half, bearings, and carb gets here. I hate waiting. I thought the mail was going to come today, I guess not - it's like an undeclared holiday??
