I just purchased a 2004 triton scooter that was in pretty sad shape. So I thought this would be a good platform to build a mid race scooter. I have already ordered a stage 6 mkII race cylinder kit, along with a 21mm delorto carb. it should be here this week. Its going to be a fully stage 6 scooter only. Josh from the scooter garage here in NC is helping me with the build. He built a nice super 9 thats putting out 15hp. He and I and a few other guys will be attending twist and gone this year to do some racing with 2strokd. I will be posting some pics soon when the parts get here. Josh was telling me that this scooter should produce at least 16-18hp when its completed. And thats with install only, with no port modding. Can't wait to get it finished. Hopefully it will be completed for twist and gone. I will be getting the r1200 stage 6 pipe as soon as they are back in stock. i had to order all new plastics also, they should be here tomorrow. I will be posting a full build. Its nice to be back building scooters again.

Hopefully you have a crank ordered too. With that pipe and cylinder the stock one won't be around for long.

Yeah, true. Stock cranks usually don't like to go too far past 10,000RPM for too long.

I am going to replace the crank. Stage 6 has a lot to choose from. So i am going to talk to josh for which would be the best match for the pipe and cylinder.

The Stage6 R/T crankshafts are some of the best for high power engines. Sounds like your going to have one quick scooter

That looks nice. It has got the orange Evo panels fitted. They look really good but are not as strong as the Yam ones. You know you want it

Some people in my area paid over 3K for this scooter model, which were coming here completely dismounted in boxes and they didn't even came in great condition. DON'T LET IT GO ! Just my 0.02 cents
