Here's the start of it. Thanks please keep it coming if you see something. I'm in uncharted waters here. I look at pictures and read posts but it's a little unnerving the first time. Lol

The guy at the hardware with the wild dio uses a Harbor freight type knockoff dremmel with a flex shaft that they sell for 50 bucks says it's great. The wife found a need for it so I get a porting tool and didn't have to beg since she needs it I told her I could use it when she is done lol

I'm really hoping so. I'm glad I went ahead with the 85mm rod crank and spacer. It's making the matching go well. I ended up getting a Dremel 3000. I won a new older style flex shaft on EBay with the thinner metal hand piece and it didn't fit my HF tool. So far it's doing really well with the burs Brent suggested.

Doing a little more work. With the spacer and what seem like pretty short skirts the don't seem to be in the way now. Should I still cut a trench? I thought it was to get the flow under the skirt.

Okay. I've heard of this, think I remember hearing Yamaha Vinos had a better design for this. So it will benefit from a trench to direct the flow.

I cut a bit of a trench. Not deep enough to go trough yet but I did hit a couple hard spots. Cheap alloy I guess. So any thoughts?

This side I went through a bit but should be a nice pathway.

In the pic below you can see a small edge between the spacer and cylinder in the boost and one of the transfers. Should I file the cylinder down a bit to get rid of that?

Trenching looks good!Smooth all sharp edges, remember mixture flow is a low velocity(not supersonic),so I think about a how a non supersonic aircraft wing shape is and try to keep all the stuff looking that way in the mixture flow area..
