The pumps are really nice to have, but they have their limits. I think you're at it and you know that feeling when something f's up and you ask yourself why you didn't listen to your first instinct? As the owner of the twin towers said about building 7..."I think we should pull it."

Seems to me if it's only going to make 2 ft lbs of torque then you might as well keep it.

It's got it's new heart, just waiting for its new lungs to get here. I'm thinking the knobby tires gotta go as well. I'm thinking some boppers will get the nod. This should be a pretty quick scoot once it's all tuned in.

Lmao. Good thing I posted these pics. I have the head on the wrong way! Tough to cool it that way.

I need some gauges for this thing. I can go without an rpm gauge, but I'd really like to have a temp gauge. Anyone know of a CHEAP but good temp gauge? Links would be great.
Thanks.

Thanks. - i like the tto water temp guage plus the wie extension. i have the m6 sensor- threaded into my aircooled head about 2 or 3 fins in. i have discovered that 170f is maybe a little cool. 185-195f is about right. 220 f is a little lean. 300-50 kills spark plugs. soft seizes. stops running etc. ----------

I use the TTO with the spark plug ring. It's accurate. Just use the ring on a air cooled motor or threaded insert on l/c. You will need an extention.

That's crazy low, I'd be checking your gauge. 300-350 is where I've alway ran my a/c stuff. 300ish 80% of the time with normal riding and long WOT up hills I'll see 350. In fact, I've never heard of one running that cold.

I've used those before and they work great. Thought maybe there was something different out there.
