The I.d. of the stinger was either 19 or 20. I checked it at the time but forgot to write it down. I'd love to experiment with a different pipe etc. Bit it's not in the budget right now. I ended up with a squish of about 1.6mm with one base gasket. I tried to figure out the whole timing wheel etc but i didn't get it. My idea of timing is the top of the piston should just clear the exhaust port at bottom dead center which it does. I know from experience with any lower of a squish i will start to have problems with detonation. It runs strong now with a good acceleration curve,no flat spots and no need to ever go past 3/4 thorttle. I've never actually done a full out WOT yet, once i got to 53mph at 9200 rpm I backed off. The builds to new and I fear the wrath of the wife if I break something.

I just checked my leo vince zxr pipe and the stinger is 19 mm. Guess it would work on my 90 cc build. Or I can get another one. I hate to use a stock pipe on either of my bikes but I may have to.

19mm ID is as small as you should run..Check the silencer core ID too,Ive seen L-V pipes with 15mm ID!!

I'm aware that 19 is the minimum...I've had the silencer apart no issues there...what I need is a nice custom pipe made by a pro who knows what he is doing...

I know. I've seen a few examples of his work in threads. I think the pipe i have is ok to use for now. I don't think it goes with the look of the scooter overall. It also gets the scooter noticed to much. I've stopped for gas more than once and seen people looking around the pumps at it. I'm worried some psycho might follow my wife around or just attract the wrong attention. I've always preferred my rides to have more of the "sleeper" look too them. I've just started learning about pipes and tuning. In a few weeks when I know more and have a few more bucks i'll start to shop around.

yes, that would be a treat you have a custom pipe. Best you can do is get a good pipe and port your cylinder to match. I have some fab skills and a little bit of knowledge. I might build/design my own. I have "modified" pipes with good results but building from scratch is another animal! I dont know where i would find the U shape stinger? i would have to build it straight i assume without a muffler curved and mounted on top..

This is what i am currently running a 10x2.15 inch rim with a 3.5x10 inch tire. I haven't had any problems with it. But the width of the tire bothers me especially since it's the rear tire. I saw another rim on feebay 10x2.5 for 40$ i offered $20 he accepted. I figured I should be able to install it with 100x80x10 tire on it? I also heard that I could use the old 12x2.5 inch rim with a 100x60x12 tire? My current setup saves me a few pounds on the rear axle. I figured to stick with a 10" rim vs the 12" rim its lighter and what would the difference be since i can achieve the same diameter allowed with either? Any thoughts or opinions would be appreciated.

So I have no idea whats up with the carburetor i ordered from dellortodirect. Closing in on 30 days and after a week of trying to get an answer from them I opened up a dispute through paypal. Out of hundreds of things I ordered this is only the second problem I have had. I almost don't want it anymore... Just bummed out about the whole thing...
