Going to take my motor down to a shop I've delt with a few times tomorrow and see what he has to say about it. I'd like to keep the gears the way they are because i'd rather have more of a top end even more since i am going down to a 10" wheel. I'm wondering if the shaft is different because it had a sprocket on it and not wheel. I just don't have enough experience in this area to know.

Ive got a China short case in the works now and checked the spline fit on a 12" CPI wheel,it slid in perfect. The short case spline appears to be formed and the long case CPI splines are machined. That makes them look different but both do the job..

No all the bearings are in good shape. All the parts are still the ones i got with the motor. Yeah just the rim and tire.

I haven't been reading this thread, but I have similar rear wheels in my gy6 139QMA/B engines (10").

Tearing apart the scooter now. here are a couple pics of the pipes i used and will be using. the top one is a 100 dollar pipe from ebay i believe its the same one scrappydog sells supposed to be able to use it with a 50cc to 90cc. Worked great on my 50cc but with my big bore kit there were exhaust flow issues. Got the other pipe from shakerdriver there is clearly a big difference here. Oh and thanks for the link to the flywheel puller i did order it.

All you needed to do was take the sprocket off and wheel would have slid on...Or am i mistaken, did you get the wheel/tire itself+installed for $40? If so, thats not bad at all!
