I am still relatively new to the scooter world, but I would like to lnow if there are any other ridrrs near me. Most of the folks around here think of scooters as jokes. I will admit that when I owned my last bike ( 89 500cc Honda Ascot ) I would often laugh about scooters. However after a wipe out killed my bike and nearly killed me, I changed my mind. Some time after my accident a friend of mine bought a scoot, and talked me onto trying it out. I fell on love. These things are just plain FUN!! They are agile, light, responsive and if tuned right quite powerfull. If any body around the 606 area code wants to meet up and start a SMALL scooter club just let me know.

I've had a few 350 to 500cc 4t single dirt bikes. They were great trail bikes

It was a great bike evil even at times. There was no reason to look for more in that. These scooters are just crazy though. I've fallen into a whole new world I never knew existed.

Surprisingly, to me these scoots are as fun as a bigger bike. I am shocked to hear how fast people can make these little guys. From a 500 to a 50 and still happy!

Like I said at the top of this thread most people around here look at these as toys. I wish I had rode one years ago.

Scooter are a lot of fun and addictive. I now own 3 scooters. The fun is in part due to the slower speeds. Gives more enjoyment from the ride. I can go cruising around just to put miles on and its great.

Is there actually no other scoot guys around east Ky.? I would like to set up a ride this spring, through the Red. River Gorge area. Beautiful scenery and wide enough roads so we wouldnt hold traffic.
