Well just wanted to raise awareness that according to a county sheriff that stopped me.while.riding my scoot, the state of WV now requires all scooters,mopeds that are DOT legal regardless of engine size to be registered and insured. Anyone else know about this ?

Would not surprise me. What a great way to raise additional revenue right? I expect that to happen here in KY soon. Once they smell that money.

Usually that sort of law change ends up on the news, but when I googled it I can't find anything. Your quickest answer may come by calling the DMV.

That's my plan, I'm going to call them tomorrow. Today was a holiday for them and their office was closed.

You should just be able to do a search on West Virgina Revised Statues, laws, etc., on the state website. Here in KY, you can search any and all laws enacted in this state.
