Nice set-up. Sure you don't need an airplane license for 67mph off a 50cc (it flies)? What instruments do you use? I am sure the digital are not stock.

Ha!...thanks guys!.....the Airbox is from RLV. I made the inlet pipe from an aluminum elbow and the Tachometer is the PET-2100DXR.....very accurate. The speed reading is from 2 units....Garmin handheld and HUD app on the Iphone.....tested against each other for error.
...the factory speedometer is useless at anything over 50mph....and off by 5mph(reads high) at 50mph. The factor tachometer reads 500rpm too high. So aftermarket gauges are a must for accuracy.

WOW! You must really have that baby dialed in! That's why I bought a 2T because they are supposed to be faster than 4t's.

Very nice S9! I like everything you,ve done to it! They can sure pull hard and go fast for the HP/Weight ratio! Is that a Airsal T6 kit? If so, matched with that RSII you should see even more power with more RPM? I believe right out of the box with the T6 kit the port durations are in the 180/130 area on that engine.. Those numbers with that pipe might get your peak power at more like 10-11,000RPM? Maybe try some lighter weights for a test run sometime? Might go even faster yet?

Do you have a link to where you got the PET-2100XR tach? And does it light up?

Might go even faster yet? well i have a new Gates Kevlar belt and a Dr. Pulley HiT Clutch on the way.... I measured my good old stock Bando belt and its down to 16.4 mm width....so I think its done....lol. And after a clutch inspection I found the stock clutch is giving up the ghost as well....one shoe has a 5-6mm chunk missing from the front tip...I expect the new belt to allow a bit better bite and ride a bit higher on the variator/drive pulleys......maybe this is the reason im not seeing higher revs?...ive jetted in both direction and set up the carb as well as possible. the motor feels nice and response is crisp....heres a short video: ....I am not sure on the exact roller weights right now as they were one of the parts installed before I bought the scooter(along with the variator)....they are orange and for sure lighter than stock(the torque drive spring looks stock)...and I see about 9000-9200rpm as is now after the initial launch....which with the stock clutch and red 2000rpm springs is at about 7500-8000 rpm....which I feel is a little low....so lets see how the HiT clutch does! I think 8500-9000rpm on the launch should feel nice!...anyone have experience with the HiT clutch?...setup suggestions?

Do you have a link to where you got the PET-2100XR tach? And does it light up? I bought it from Riva Motorsports here in FL...and no unfortunately it doesnt light up.....but I do like the recall feature....helps keep my eyes on the road!

Yea I'd say lighter weights would help. I've got a buddy with a S9 and the same cylinder and pipe and like 2strokd said he's in the 10-11k revs. Where are you in Fl.

ok.....ill have to weigh my weights and see where im at now.....may need to get a tighter spring in the back first....
Im in Wellington....I see youre in Stuart!...not to far away neighbor!.....I wonder if your friend is reading RPM off of his factory Tachometer?....I know mine reads about 700-800rpm too high at redline... when I am at actual 9100-9200rpm the factory tach will read way over 10,000rpm....

Yea he's using factory. Mine(Vento)reads the same as a trail tach I have. Maybe I'll lend him the tt tach and compare. That is if he ever earns his man card back, takes off the apron and saddles up. Lol
