Good to hear Skeedr is home. I can't see how they'd stop you from selling a scooter for offroad or racing use. It's like when I sold a friend's car in my yard with all sorts of go fast goodies, I just told people that it could not pass state inspection. It's sold as-is and not street legal. I make anyone buying a car sign a form stating that it is sold as-is with no warranties etc... Just add in "offroad use only" or "not legal for road use" in a paper that you and the buyer signs if you ever sell it.

Just got back from a short trip on my Aprilia. I took all the side roads i could to keep from holding traffic at 25. Took a turn onto the one (kinda) busy road i had to travel, looked in my mirror and sure enough a cop(county this time) was right behind me. Matching my speed i assume? They have a real hard time clocking scooters and mopeds because they are so small. He followed me for a block and a half  ! This is getting nuts  |

 Dude - sounds like this is only going to get worse for you. Once they get all the scoots off the road, you will stand out like a sore thumb. When do you plan on putting the Ape up for sale? Maybe it could go to a good home, like a forum member  |

I just got back from riding around with this sign on my back for about an hour.  Got allot better results than i thought i would! Im getting ready to go back out, needed a break. Allot of thumbs ups and smiles, one guy even took a pic of it! Only one bird flown at me and he retracted it at the next light when i spoke with him about cutting ME off, then flipping ME off because i honked  ! He was sorry ;D! This is turning out well  , slow but well  |

Thanks guys, it helps to have the support ;D I ended up mounting the sign on the Ape so i dont have to tape it to my back everywere i go :stars: ! Also gonna write an ad for the paper, C-list, and were-ever else i can! I gotta make it known that this is BS and get others on the same page and fighting against this together all at once! Im thinking a time and date for all the people (locals) that are "in" with signs and sandwich boards in the courthouse lawn and on the court square  ! Im fighting this with all i have! Fulltime dedication here my friends! They are trying to take the only thing i had left from me.  Its allot sturdier than it looks. Its bolted to the scooter using some metal flashing and some nuts and bolts. Holds up well at 25 and now people know why i (we) are going so slow around here :scoot: ! I showed this to Uncle and he wants one also. I need a nice design to copy lol. Could make it look "good" and still get the point across, that just wasnt what i was thinking when i made it . |

If you wanted something more professional looking, you can get yard signs printed cheap ($6-$10 HERE depending how big the sign is, other places selling in bulk cheaper if you get much interest). You can make your own image or use one of their templates and add your own text. |

The trick would be to get some friends out with you sporting the same signs. Or maybe split up across town and really slow stuff down. Just a few law abiding citizens enjoying a scooter ride.
