LOL, not yet saddly. I get one day off a week, and to get to the valve section I have to pretty much take the scooter apart and I need it to get to work. Takes a little time. I was hoping to get it done this Saturday. Take a fan out to my shop if it's hot, hope for no thunderstorms...I have a new variator and clutch, and spring coming too, those will be easy, one thing at a time to compare results though.

It is nice to have a regular day off. I tend to waste them. Last Saturday I did a Dr. Who marathon with my daughter.

Question, is it normal for the A9 to run clackier than the stock? I have tried adjusting valves, normally I go .08mm, I've gone down to .o6mm and still sounds clacky.

Cams with more aggressive profiles often make a bit more noise.

Ok. I just didn't want to leeve it in if it was goofy. Thanks. It will take a bit of getting used to. I left it at .07mm, seemed to sound the best. I waisted most of my afternoon trying different valve settings, so I won't be putting the body back on til after work tommorow. I even have to move the gas tank to get to the last bottom bolt on the cover, PITA. Looks like 83 and sunny, should be a good day for a test drive.
