Im preparing it for a 250+ mile trip from my hometown to Amsterdam and back. The 12th I have a get together in Amsterdam with all the people who did the France roadtrip. There we are gonna ride a 50 mile route and after that hit the pub. Real excited, i hope this ignition holds up and the cops won't pull me over!

I just hope i will dodge the bullet with being nice and understanding when i get pulled over. Having to leave it at some police station 100 miles from my house would be a real PITA. |

I don't know if i should be happy or feel a stupid at this moment. Tonight went from a 98mj to a 94mj and all the supposed to be ignition problems are gone? It runs great now. So it wasn't the ignition that was faulty...it was my incompetence to detect a rich running engine. But i had my reasons to suspect the ignition and the fear to go down in main jet because before it was running great with a 98mj! Well anyway, it runs okay now so...got nothing else to report really  |

I ran from the cops once. I was test driving my 60mph puch maxi at night with no Lights. They saw me and came After me. Luckily we have a lot of bicycle paths/alleys where cars can't go into so I lost them fairly Easy. But Man that was thrilling.

Today did a 85 mile trip to a friends house and back. Had another friend on the back as a passenger and all went well. A lot of longer period 50+ mph cruising between 1/2 and 3/4 throttle and the engine held well even with a 165 pound passenger. When avoiding freeways im as fast or even faster on my scoot than i would be in a car.

Sounds like its running good now It's not running as it's supposed to be. The 94mj is just a tad to big. I still have slight bogs beyond 3/4 throttle so i'll have to back to 92 just as I had with the previous engine. Also im gonna put in a needle with a shorter taper because around 1/4 and 2/4 throttle the engine runs rich and is very sluggish. |
