Cool. I've had members bail me out of a bind by seeing something I over looked when I've hit a wall.

Tomorrow im gonna pick up 11 1qt bottles of 2T oil. They are all Bel-Ray is7 full synth oil, and are about $5 each. Quite a bargain i think (?). www.belray.com/bel-ray-si-7-synthetic-2t-engine-oilI think this oil is 'ok' for my engine...It says 'especially desgined for injector systems'. Dunno really what to think of that? Does injector friendly oil has trade-offs compared to normal oil? Is this something i need to keep aware of? I mean...does 'special injector oil' behave different or need different handling or characteristics than 'normal' oil? It doesn't fully convince me yet...i nowhere read 'high performance' 'high stress' 'high revs' etc etc. Maybe you guys can give your opinions?

I have been using it for at least 10 + years in everything 2 stroke I have owned. Never a failure caused by lube. It's thinner then others but I think it's still good stuff. I mix at 40:1 or 44:1

Isnt Belray made in the US?
Ive had 0 trouble with it but havent used it religiously as it is very expensive local.
Also, i think most the only difference with injector oils is the viscosity? The injectors dont like thick cold oil.. Pushes the pump seals out trying to pump it. Or worse, it wont move it at all?..

Belray is american yes. The injector oil is less thick...apparenty it's diluted with kerosine to make it more fluid. Another thing i noticed was that this Si7 injector oil is more expensive than the 2T racing line oil from belray (?)...strange.
I just can't stop thinking that you're compromising on 'something' when you use special injector oil. They've done something with it, added or removed something from it to make it suitable for injector systems. That could work against me since i don't need it perse...i don't use the oilpump.
So i decided not to buy the bottles...i'm gonna save my money for a tray of castrol power RS 2t.

As you yanks might know Holland (and a few other Eurepean countries) are flooded with cheap 2nd hand performance parts. You guys should learn some dutch and check out www.marktplaats.nlI think there are at any given time at least 10 Yasuni c16's for sale for about €100 (atm the dollar and euro are worth the same, so $100).

Today tackled the triple tree/stem problem finally. Gave it some days of thought to think of a suitable solution to get the stem in to the triple tree properly. Eventually i just heated the triple tree and pressed the stem in. The mating surface of the stem was quite rough because i used the angle grinder earlier to seperate it from the drum fork tree. I was afraid some spots where still too wide to fit into the triple tree with the hot/cold method. After all it worked out great and the stem is into the tree and is aligned right. Now i need to get the stem welded solid into the tree and then that's done Great relief to have that hurdle out of the way.

Aight, it seems is got scammed on that yasuni! I send the guy the money...now he's nowhere to be seen. What a patethic loser to scam someone for only €30...well lucky me it wasn't more.
Right now im gonna try to make his life hard until he hands me over the parts or sends back the money. I found him on facebook, also his girlfriend and a relative. Also i know where he works and where he went to school.
Im gonna file a report with the police and the auction site i bought the yasuni. In the meantime im gonna stalk this dude until i get my parts or money.
I'll keep you guys updated.
