Got the Pilots on this morning. They should run in at about 100 miles but i was carrying way more speed through the very first corner out of the dealer. Stock tires are no comparison to the SCs. I really can't overstate how much i recommend them. Under fende is off for painting. ;D On my now deceased 139QMB a set of decent Conti's made a world of difference compared to the crappy stock ones that lasted less than 2000K. I've clocked up 2000mi on the stock Conti's on my new scoot and they look good as new. Low profile too ;D

A little more done today. Under fender back on. Not an exact color match but very close considering it's a rattle can from Lows. ;D

WT that is one sharp looking scoot and I'm not that fond of green. I'd say the rear fender looked just a touch darker, but if you hadn't mentioned it I would have though it was just the shadow.

Thanks RD. To the eye (unlike to the camera) the colors look identical in hue just a bit darker in tone which as you said feels like a shadow. I don't mind the difference.

Hey WT, I'm considering that exact scoot right now. Same color and everything. My main question: what's the top speed?

Do it! You'll love the scoot.
With my open pipe on it i can get a consistent 60mph on the flats. We're convinced the CDI is limiting it beyond that.

60 mph would really open up my scooting world. But 70 would be better still. I think I'm leaning toward getting it anyway. Yours looks so effing cool, and when I sat on it at the dealer, it really felt great. I need to talk them into a test ride though. I'm affraid without the ME they won't let me take it out.

If you do the written and get your permit you may have enough to ride. In MO you are legal with no restrictions once you pass the written test and pay the $3.
