I have a wildfire 150 four here with no spark. Coil is good, checked the killswitch and swapped out the CDI. Still no spark, so that leaves me with the stator and i cant get to it. Anybody no were the best deal is on a 150 flywheel puller? Im on a budget and cant afford the cool 4 or 5 in ones. Also (of course) looking for the best deal on a stator??? From what ive read, it sounds like im best off waiting until i get the old one out to make sure i get the right one... Any help would be great ;D! Thanks everyone!

Can you ohm it out and see if its shorted, etc?I know ya checked the kill switch.Could be a bad wire too,I had a pinched wire where the harness got snagged between the steering stop and triple clamp, that one took a while to find!I think Brent has a how to on stator checks..I got a bunch of pullers,ya got a link to a 150 puller(thread pitch)? If I got one, will sent it to ya!

Send it to you for shipping if it's the right one. You can tell from those pictures that the left one is thicker, it threw too much voltage and blew out my lights. Someone suggested that it looked like a better quality and was probably meant for a Honda or such. LOL, I had to look real close at the pictures on ebay to find a crappy one that would work

Parts for scooters does a good job of providing lots of pics and info on their parts. You should be able to swap 6 or 8 pole stators... but then again sometimes what you think is the same stator will givbe you trouble. Goosey and I have both experienced that. I'm sure it could be fixed with maybe a wiring change or a different rectifier or something, but it's not worth it in many cases to go through that sort of trouble.
