Rode down to Homie Depot, placed a special order, picked up a new 5 gallon gas can and siphon pump. Then rode to Burger King for lunch, a whopper meal, DCF Coke from a freestyle machine. I could not move for about half an hour since I was in some catatonic state of overload. Stopped at the Mission Hy-Vee gas station for some premium 100% gasoline and filled the new gas can as well as the scoot. Then rode back home, wallowing all the way. I am not sure if the wallowing was from the ~35# of gas sloshing in the can on the luggage rack or my 35# stomach...
I shouldn't have done that but I was celebrating a move forward.
Now I have my own (almost 100% gas) filling station at home. No more damn ethanol and water corroding and eating my scoot. I should have dumped that last half gallon of tainted fuel out of my scoot tank but I figured the damn hose on the dispenser had crap ethanol mix in it anyway. When filling a large tank that stuff in the hose probably does not matter but what are we getting when we top off a little 1-2 gallon scoot tank?

Took the scoot to work again. The 100 main seems to be working out but it has started raining everyday after I get home so no plug chops to confirm.

I spent some time today doing some CVT "cooling" mods. I drilled a ton off holes all around the front of the cover (the part over the variator) to the point it almost looks like mesh. I Then drilled holes in the same fashion at the rear of the cover behind the clutch housing, and I cut 3 small windows out the cover to slightly expose the clutch bell. Once that was all said and done I painted the cover gloss white to match last months paint job I did, and I painted the bell red to match the rest of the engines accents.

Road to work again and made it about 2 blocks and a u turn from home before the sky opened up. I got soaked. Glad I had my full face on this time. The last two times I got caught I didn't and besides stinging like hell it's a real bitch to see with fogged up sunglasses in a thunderstorm.

Went for one of my longer rides a couple of days ago, late i know, took my gps to clock my speed. So i went to go up a long uphill road just to see where it goes. After about 20 mins into my ride i began hearing a rattle. I pulled over thinking it was my center stand hanging low, all seemed fine. About 30 more minutes the rattle had gotten much louder. I pulled over under a light and went over my scooter again. I found that my muffler had compleatly broke loose from its engine mount. All the welds broke at the muffler can. I managed to take a few feet of 16ga wire and tie it up and limp home.

The other day I road 20 miles to get a truck had to pull the windshield and mirrors to get it in the back of the truck with a topper. Put a mirror back on and road to work. First time I've had the shield off in 6 years lol kind of like it

Enjoy the wind in your face! I really grew to like my windshield in the cold, but I say good riddance once it warms up. Plus it looks cooler w/o the shield IMO.

I do like the look better without the shield but it can be cold here at 3am lol. I'm going to leave it off for a while. Need to do a single cable conversion so I can put the dellorto on and I've got some cosmetic changes to make also Sent from my SPH-L720 using proboards
