Sunny but icey out went on a needed road test for donuts and coffee. Still found it trying to jump out of the odd gear now and again. Not sure if it's me or the scooter. Then back for a wash.

You are having a right clearance Milly. Indeed I am. I think now that two will be enough in my life with the odd one now and again to tinker on and sell when times are hard.

Today turn the mixture screw in on Violet and see how it runs tomorrow. I found a 10mm rubber grommet fits the hole nicely instead of those plastic screw in thing which tends to disintegrate when you undo them. Then check out why left front indicator don't work on the cut down, appears the switch is faulty but I have a spare new one luckily. Pull the rat out ready to work on in the week at some point. All done today.

The best plans of mice and men or something like that...
That broken wire is part of the problem with soldered connections and vibration. The wire breaks... You might want to examine the rest of those connections.
Do you still have a spare for the scoot available?

Do you still have a spare for the scoot available? Ah the broken wire is where I started cutting them loose, problem was with the circuit board flexing out.

That is good news, at least you won't have to look for broken connections. That circuit board is made from a cheap material, kind of like pressed paper. A common material used in low cost consumer products. Is there any way to secure the circuit board better?
