Went out for a ride, did over twenty miles in two hours. Went exploring some of the narrow, single track roads near me. The speed limit is 60, but if your doing more than 20, your asking for a crash. Lots of gravel, and hairpin bends. They are so narrow you wouldn't even get an average size American car down them. Then had a blast to the beach, got a scooter tag. Then cold drink sitting watching people paddling. Need to do this more often.

See you got your safety feet on jloi 😂 well , I haven't been cutting any metal or grinding any lately out there so hopefully won't have another saga like the Saga of the Thumb. If I do I'll leave the palm sander ALONE. Nah , really , just got a shower and no harm done to the feet .

I got most of the new parts on , the triple tree, the new Naraku and the new SSPG variator . Not sure yet but I think the brake are switches are wrong . might be operator error tho , picking out the wrong ones . maybe they have others , didn't see em tho . the variator came with 2 shims ; don't know yet if I need them .still in the box . managed to get the triple tree in the vise to get the bearing on - without hurting the stem . can already tell it moves smoother than the old one ? since the old didn't have hardly any miles on the bearings I just left the old upper and lower races in and didn't change them out . I have a throttle cable thats wrong length (too long ) ; buyers mistake !. any way for some reason the throttle idle adjustment screw for the cable isn't anywhere near the step on the piece? that turns when you give it gas. it's a good 3/4" away from it so there's no idle adjustment the way it is now . so , I think the cable housing is too long . gonna have to look at it more tomorrow and either do surgery on the housing or get the right cable ; only , now I don't how many inches it's supposed to be . parts house just want you to pick a length . no way to know for a 2014 Tao Tao . since I messed it up last order. ever since I had the scooter , the adjusting bolt with the 2 nuts for the cable adjustment has been bottomed out . if the cable itself was any shorter in THIS housing I'd never get the lead piece into it's seat . pix tomorrow . of idle screw . you can see the too long cable wrapped in a loop on top . no laughing .

66mph. Sustained. I did 66mph on my Kymco ZX50 today.... Coming from Tampa into Pinellas Park, after a long group ride, I let her rip while full tucked and was able to snag a screen shot. My goal of 70mph is so close... And this is a mild build!
