Yamaha should go faster with it's new sticker on. Time for coffee in town after all the hard work.

Today is blooming battery day. First the GTS battery terminal broke being as old and brittle, then it was time to fit leads and a spare battery on the rat scooter in the bucket but need slightly longer battery bolts. At least the damn mobility scooter batteries went back ok and are charging.

Welcome to Kansass
The weather is always awful, I have seen it change 60°F in one day. Something about being in the Great American Desert.

It's been -6°C, or 23 degrees Fahrenheit last couple of mornings. Roads are really icy, and not fun to ride in.

Shit must be bad in the late/early hours when you go to and come back from work Paul.

Well been going round in circles on this one. Lowered compression, new battery, starter, starter solenoid, still pig on starter. Main battery leads appear ok and all terminals clean.clean.Just used jump pack starts fine replaced or rather added some extra stout leads to earth and solenoid just one more in morning from solenoid to starter motor and see if works ok. Got a buyer who really wants it but ain't going like it is. If still problems see if he wants it as is to finish off.

Shit must be bad in the late/early hours when you go to and come back from work Paul. It's a bit scary. I stopped and pushed the scooter from the main road today. My street was just ice! Even worse because having numb hands doesn't help. 😳 Even taking the dogs out this morning was sliding all over the pavement. It's not usually so bad for so long here. But this week has been crazy.

milly , To check your starter system look for a large voltage drop across connections, components, and wires. The starter itself is the only one that should show a large voltage drop.
In the winter I wrap a length of single jack chain around each of my boots with a small bungee cord for traction. They make ice traction grips for shoes but I am too cheap to buy them. My three wheel scoot worked fairly well in snow and ice.
