Well I am stumped. Even putting a jump pack directly to starter it turns slowly exactly as it did with old then a moment later using the normal key system it wizz away and start. I am thinking of see if the Variator has any problems as in bent dunno. Clutching at straws now but the outer pulley is the last thing that spins the crank. All the rest of the system back has been renewed or upgraded 🤔

15 minutes prior to that pic; I was doing 80-85 in a 50. A white SUV with a push bar comes rolling up behind me, gaining fast. I come to a stop sign with left and right turn lanes and get in the left one. The SUV, which I can now most definitely see is a Sheriff, gets in the left lane behind me. I sweat in the 40 degree weather while I wait my turn to go. I turn left and look behind me for his lights… but he’s turning right from the left lane. I think I just got a Christmas present.

That was very lucky Brent, maybe he had a emergency call over the radio.

Or he figured that driving those speeds would be self limiting when you died...

Or he figured that driving those speeds would be self limiting when you died... I wonder how fast he was going, because I watched the GoPro footage. He was in a driveway, in a position where he'd have to back up and turn around to get to the road when I passed at about 85 and got up to about 90 coming through a curve. He was behind me in maybe a mile. It was obvious he was coming fast in the mirrors, but he had to be flying. Prob hoped it was a sport bike so he could be in a pursuit and then got disappointed with a fat guy on a big scooter.

Well that'll teach me to work late when tired. Connected the jump battery the wrong way and alternator didn't like 24 volts zapping through it. Lucky I have a spare one handy for 139qmb engine of the same type.

milly F-Is man flu different from regular flu? Do parts rot off or drip or something? Only us men get man flu. Yolanda only get regular flu and has to mop my fevered brow whilst sorting out ice-cream for me and lemon and honey drinks. Good job she can't see this or I would be in for a slap 🙃

New rectifier install done. Easiest job I have done on this particular scooter in ages.

After getting boy back from hospital after having his screw's removed I got the 2 scooters on the ramp ready for next week as garage closed then and do the rollers and belt, jockey wheel and rear wheel spacer on the GTS and the 125 ET4 give it a good check over and wash the salt off it.
