We not only have speed cameras here. They are installing noise camera stations on some of my favourite roads now. Not good, although I could use them both on my street sorry to say. I am old though. The noise from missing/rusted exhaust systems and loud crappy muzak is intolerable. I like hearing a well tuned performance vehicle but the other noise is terrible and illegal. Some of the 125cc scooters and motorcycle here sound bloody awful with their straight through illegal eBay exhausts. It's just an obnoxious din. No tone to it.I I'm getting old! 😂

What's the difference between the earlier and new caliper Pete? Are the new ones bigger?

custom bracket isnt an option ? EDIT: just got a reply by email from scootertuning ( Eric, the mechanic ) about my cvt video ( to see if they can see anything wrong with alignment since ive got no answer on that here ). i know we cannot see everything perfectly in videos but if its terribly bad then it can be seen. he said he dont see anything wrong, but all chinese scooter, 2 or 4 stroke, including minarelli clone have cvt issue and they all come out defective from factory......only yamaha make good scooter.... that means pgo are big crap, honda dio/elite are big crap, kymco are big crap. piaggio are big crap, aprilia are big crap...... i see shitloads of chinese scooter around both 2 broke and 4 stroke and none have such issue. what a retarded fucktard. wow. really.... i think i see why people recommend to go in small shop instead and avoid them at all cost. they also are stubborn that the Polini evo slider spring i ordered there ( 243.102, listed in the 139qmb directory ) should fit my engine. my gosh i even sent them a video comparison between the stock spring, the malossi ( 2912658.W0 ), and 4 of my clutch. the slider is bigger than the seat in the clutch... the spring too. but they're stubborn its the right spring kit even tho it doesnt even fit in the NCY Dio pulley which is the same as 139qmb 100%. ( thats bbcause they dont make any Evo Slider for the dio/139qmb ) according to Polini site they dont make the evo slider serie for 139qmb, only 50cc piaggio and 125/150cc GY6. i noticed to get somethigng that fit it must be titeled as gy6 50, not piaggio-GY6. all the product they sell for gy6 are the same they are all the wrong item for 139qmb if it says "piaggio 50-gy6" or "piaggio-GY6". they refuse to admit there is something wrong, and if it fit piaggio 50cc then it fit 139qmb 100%. thier "mechanic", eric, the guy that say all chinese scooter in the world have overgheating cvt issue from factory with other issue, is supposed to verify that today. i dont have much hope here.... this guy is........... i have no words. i sebnt the replay from Eric to 3 of my friends ( all 3 are mechanic , one only polaris PoS tho ), they're laughing their ass off they're wondering when this guy escaped the hospital. thier words not mine. i ahve 7 email with him but here is the worse where he say only yamaga works all the rest is defective from factory.

had to get the welder out.... since 99.9% of 139qmb CVT is actual Honda Dio parts ( clutch,v ariator, pulleys... ) wondering if i could order the whole kickstarter assy ( including the part on the drive face and the fan you know ) and put those QUALITY parts in.... i know the part that move on the variator face to turn the crank isnt the same ( different amount of tooth ), but what about the whole system.... also, found out what was snapping all my belt ( almost snapped my Naraku belt but lucky me i have to play on the cvt at least 3 time a week on that horrorific thing so i noticed in time ). the belt touch the starter bendix ( mixed with slipping on the variator making excessive heat ) even tho the belt is far from riding high enought on the variator... gonna make a thread about that in 4 stroke help. what a beautiful day... all that under a heavy sunny day at 27C that feels like 32-35C.

Gave my new acquisition a wipe down, replaced oil, replaced gear oil and fuel. It's a 2018 Roughhouse Sport, Flatt titanium with 74 miles, it was kept in an air conditioned garage and derestricted by the dealer before original delivery. Pictures to follow.

Checking everything out on the bike as it's been sitting for 5 years, carb will need cleaning as the idle is erratic and slow to return. Removed air cleaner box yesterday and noticed a carb heater hose (ducted from cylinder shroud) does anyone keep that in place ? Today remove carb.

I spooned on a new rear tire. Don’t know what happened price wise but a 130/90 10 Michelin Bopper went from about $60 to $200, at least 3 days ago. I went with a Shinko SR007. A little different profile, a little wider and maybe a tiny bit taller. It’s brand new so I didn’t test hard lean but hopefully it’ll be fine.

Thanks for the reply, I'm very familiar with carb ice, had to make a forced landing with piston engine helicopter (269 Hughes) years ago. My old VW bug would ice the carb when warming up (after market exhaust without tubes). I was wondering how much issue carb ice was with the Roughhouse as this tube was not on early bikes or was an option, also with many people making mods, carb/intake changes are they keeping the hot air tube, just to add the temp does not need to be very cold to create carb ice, cool humid air combined with a venturi.
