I woke up at 4:30AM and rode to the beach.  Spend the rest of the day getting the salt spray off, -which you can never do. |

Connected pump up and got it running earlier before dark just need to bolt it in, easier said than done. Then on the ramp over garage to change sump pan and engine bush that needs pressing out and new in and hopefully out for a spin at some point.

Bit of a faff getting bolt in fuel pump and had remove exhaust but now done. Next job silent block, removed old one but time for dinner. Back to it later after second coffee.

I don't remember it being that hard. But then again I had no panels on the bike and engine out.

Test fitted the new header pipe and it looks niiiiiice! Need to trim a few inches but I’m happy with it.   There’s plenty of clearance from the ground, frame, and engine plastics.  |

Did some fine tuning to the SR today, plug chop calls for more fuel. a sort of whiteish brown, a bit too lean still.

Major jobs finished, off to son's and scooter is rode the 100 yards home and put away will check level of oil in morning and for any leaks round the new oil pan. Few plastics to screw on and hopefully don't have to touch it for a while. Ah yes cut hole and make a excess hatch so I can do carb easier when needed.
