The weather was so nice early evening I had to take the Blue Kymco out for a spin. Its been a while since I have ridden, too l ong. Scoot is filthy from sitting outdoors under the pole tent, didn't care I wiped the seat off and rode away. I got on the bypass for a couple miles to get down to the south end quicker. Getting off the bypass a Harley pulled up next to me at the light and asked what size is that, I replied "about 73cc" He said it goes pretty good, I said yeah I like it. (I was hitting 58 -59 coming down ahead of him) We got stopped at the next light and I changed lanes, he got held up momentarily but when he got free he passed me doing a wheelie in fairly heavy traffic! He was a forty something on a ratty sportster wearing an Alpine logo jacket, just enjoying the ride like me. He turned off shortly thereafter and I continued on. I rode up the strip to the north end, on the way lots of people and kids turning around to see what the racket was  I almost felt bad cause this thing is loud, loud and the pipe needs repacking or something. An older lady walking her dog gave me a stern disapproving look. Stopped up at the North end to snap a picture. Headed home, it was a great ride. Hey aeroxbud and milly if the world was flat and I had a good telescope I might be able to see yall if you get on a roof or something?    |

But oldgeek the earth is flat, lots of people say so on YouTube so must be true! Glad you enjoyed your ride and I got to the age where I think a loud pipe is more of an embarrassment through town than when I was a teen thinking it was great 🫣 Good to see you had a good ride out. |

You can't see that far, it was just the vibrations from that pipe you sensed through your chest and feet, probably not your ears.

Today I sold my Lambretta on eBay the chap is arranging collection fairly soon.
I am now left with a non running Peugeot Pox to tinker on in the long term.
See this space for what comes next.
Maybe a non running Peugeot Twat.
I will then have the worst of both worlds, what more could I ask for.

Oh well complications already. They put in offer, I accept offers but they hadn't worked out how to collect beforehand being about 150 away and want to come in a fortnight for it.
Told them put the money in eBay and I transfer title to them or do a bank transfer and they can collect whenever it suits.
Now we have the long silence from them.
I use to love the days of putting up a advert in the shop window or notice board. People actually had to call you and think how to come and view.
Maybe I should offer free delivery and pay me when I get there. 😵💫

Oh how unusual silence from the buyer so I cancelled the order.
Next thing will be a message about how mortified he is and cruel I am not doing what his entitled self thinks I should do and I should be beholden to him for even to purchase the scooter.
Bollocks to them all I say. From now on I shall use the for sale boards in various local shops and hopefully not have to deal with the Muppets
