Josh came by and saved the day! I already mentioned this on scooter doc. Great guy and I can't thank him enough for being a capable and nice mechanic when the "real" one fell asleep on the job. I'm looking forward to the convo I will have with the mechanic when I tell him the things he missed, and how they need to actually diagnose the actual problems instead of working folks for hard earned money for the wrong thing. Don't think I'll get mmoney back -- there might have been an actual CDI issue for all I know. But they need to know they're not catching the isdue and yhat my friend caught what they missed! Won't be going back to them again.

Thanks tom and Everyone else,these fly by nighters taking ppls money is ridiculous I also would like too thank 49ccscooter for all the info I've learned from y'all has helped me a lot in working on 2 strokes great site and great members!!!

I met with tom today and fixed him up carb was a dirty and jets were clogged he took it for a ride and I took for a ride all was good!!! People that don't know 2 stroke scooters should just leave them alone Awesome of you to do that! True that bud. How about the variable timing CDIs? A load or some validity? I've had folks say they can help with starter kickback and top end but I'm the original skeptic. Rich Never messed with one. If I catch one cheap I may pick it up someday to see if the dip switches actually do something or just playing with them gives a placebo effect.
