Thanks guys, all of my trailer equipment uses a 2" ball and so do a good friend's vehicles and trailers. That way we can swap equipment back and forth. The HF trailer actually uses a 1-7/8" coupler but it can be made to fit a 2" ball with a BFH. If I ever get my lathe up and running I will drill and turn out the inside of the 2" ball for the scoot to shed some weight. The trailer itself will be about 100# with an estimated 400# capacity. My scoot weighs 500# with me on it so I won't be going up hills, -or very fast. A lot of the weight is in the axle and wheel assemblies.
