I'd like to see a link, personally I think he's all talk and shit talk rather then show. I mean come on he's trash talking to forum members cause he doesn't like the input they give, talking about earning speed? Get a job so you have money to "earn" the speed. Quit bitching about the stuff you don't have bro me for one I'm tired of hearing it, thats like joining a scootforum asking for free parts, shit just ain't gonna happen bro. I don't remember seeing your scoot in a pic or a video not one time in this thread just parts you wanna buy.
Brent can we do something about this preetttty preeety please or maybe block me from seeing this b.s cause this youngin is mad he can figure shit out with the best scoot guru on the net.

His scoot has been in videos. Not running, but it's there in this thread.
My best suggestion is to not enter this thread if it aggravates you. He has calmed down since outbursts a while back so I've been trying to offer advice where I could. You can also go to :
Profile > Edit Profile >
There you should see "Member Block List".
"Search members to block their interaction with you on the forum. Note: you cannot block conversations from staff members."

back on track i remember the whole thing with the wireing started a little while after the auto choke on my carb broke [the needle housing snapped] and the guy cut the plug off the old one and twisted the wires on to the new one and just duck taped it over. i keep wondering if that the problem has been that the whole time

The insults need to stop. There's no reason to get personal. If you fellas want to argue, find a forum that's into that. It accomplishes nothing. Keep it cool or keep it to yourself.
Note : I cleaned out the most recent posts.

If the wires aren't making contact where they're stripped it should be OK. Duct tape shouldn't act as a conductor.

as i have a very good chance of geting a job soon i geting a list of parts together to buy for a 80 cc bbk install and id like your imput on what set of springs for the clutch do you recommend as i was thinking 1000rpm clutch springs and 2k rpm contra spring as i want good take off but lots of top speed

The clutch springs are tough to guess on IMO. I've installed replacement clutches that need different springs than what they replaced to get the same results. 1000RPM should be a safe bet for an improvement over stock, but may or may not be the best. I can never determine that without actually trying them in each case.
I would say 2000RPM is overkill on the contra. Some like them, but I prefer the softer contra springs like 1000RPM. The really stiff springs make the CVT a little more difficult to service and I believe them to be unnecessary in most cases. Each would need different rollers/sliders to get them in tune. The stiffer the contra the heavier the weights you'll need and vice versa.

so then il go midway with a 1500 rpm contra spring

1500 clutch springs and 1k contra seems like a pretty good all around setup. Of course, like Brent said, everyone's setup is different... Sounds like you're making some progress...
