i figured out the problem with the kick start theres not enuof meat on the kick start paw on the variator so it keeps slipping that or the nut on the drive shaft is preventing the full engagement of the paw

You'll need to tune the carb for the open exhaust. I know others here like them, but to me they just draw even more attention to the stupid things I'm probably doing on the scoot. Kinda like honking your horn and flashing your lights while you speed at the officer holding the RADAR gun.

Some people take a long drill bit and go in through the exit of the muffler. Some drill holes in the end. I've mainly cut them apart and welded them back up.

I had a scooter (2t) where the previous owner drilled holes into the end of it. Yep it was loud! Too loud for me. I nearly caught myself on fire when the steel wool I packed into the end caught on fire. Ah, my first scoot...memories...

i should say it's not advisable or recomended to do that. You would foul out your plug and lean out the jetting by the ratio amount you mix the gas at? You would need to up jet to replace what amount of oil put in. Secondly the rings on a four-sroke piston have compression rings and oil rings. oil rings scrape the cylinder clean everytime it comes down. they're meant to keep oil out of the combustion chamber. same as the valve seals in the head, those seals are to keep oil out of the combustion chamber and therefore out of the combustion process.if you ever see a car that smokes it's cause of either of the 2
