Koso makes some nice stuff, but the price is way above the others. I have their analog tach with digital CHT built in. Seems to be accurate, but the CHT only goes up to 302F so I think it was more intended for monitoring liquid cooling systems. www.kosonorthamerica.com/koso/scooter_met/ that's almost dbl what I paid for my scoot, you should definitely get one of those. |

For my daily 65mph I used upgears. This is where most people never truelly upgrade and end up overevving the engine when you hit 55+
So far on a budget build (before swapping everything over) was a 80 dollar cylinder kit, liquid cooled. A 17.5mm carburetor, upgears,and a stage 6 pro replica,4.0 weights with a yellow contra spring.
it was powerful enough to give a 150 5 lengths and still maintain the lowend torque and power to keep up and pass around 20mph.
For my aircooled I used an athena sport. Athena upgears,17.5 and the sport pro. The pro revved higher so with the proper gearing 60 wasn't hard to achieve.
I see a lot. And I mean a lot of larger minarelli builds. And if honesty were to be spoken. Its extra cc with no power.
The 70cc cylinders love to rev. And even with a revy setup on my air cooled setup I never had to rebuild the athena cylinder with over 5,000 miles. Its all about proper build and quality of parts.

hey guys had it runing yesterday for 25 minutes now the probelm is that the voltage regulator keeps blowing it this time it went 3 months then it blew for the 3rd time im planing to repalce the wireing but what else should i look for

um its chargeing but the problem is voltage regulater keeps going bad i wanting to know what else other than the wireing can be makeing this happen

Some regulators are wired differently even though they look the same,that'll smoke them every time!

ive blown 3 so far the this one went 3 months the one before that 1 day im haveing it rewired hopefully next week so if it happens agen il know that's what it is

Pretty much any BBK for the 139QMB/1P39QMB/QMB139 should fit. PFS , ScrappyDog, Enviromoto, lots of eBay sellers, and more sell them. I would suggest a 47mm kit if engine life is a concern. 50mm bores are popular and all over eBay, but they put more stress on the crank and tend to cause premature bearing failure. well ive been thinking about rebuilding the cylinder for while. but if i am gonna rebuild it i want it bigger and better and better than ever. im wanting at 80cc piston because i know my scooter has an 61 cc already so the crank should handle the stress also i want to keep the par emmisions becuse i leared that if you take off the vacuum valve but leave the pipe it makes the thing sound like a 2t
