Brand new 90cc engine. Old 50cc engine had a 10" rim, didn't count the splines. New engine not only had a bigger shaft (18 spline) but didn't include a nut or washer. 12" rim and tire in route for tommorow. Anybody know off hand what size nut it takes? Or where to find one? (Engine 1E50QMF)

I think it's M14x1.5.
EDIT : Well, that's what it says on some axle specs from PFS but I went out and measured one of mine and the thread diameter is just shy of 16mm and the pitch still looks like 1.5, so that would be M16x1.5 I believe.

Just measured. Same thing, shy of 16. Thanks again 90tvert. Taking a look at the site now.

Parts For Scooters number 164-30 is M16x1.5. You can find them on eBay. Search for flange nuts so you get the larger base.

Ordered. Both m16x1.5 and .1 just in case. Couldn't afford the 2 day shipping of $45. But I'll just have to wait to ride when they get here.

90tvert is the 1.5 standard pitch for a scooter?

That's what my axle threads appear to be anyway. Can't say I've really checked a lot of axles because I've never lost/damaged a stock nut yet.
