So I'm riding the other night and my scooter felt like it fell out of gear and the engine revved up when I came to a stop the engine died and wouldn't crank. I assumed the belt have out so pulled the cover off all is well but a metal cylinder piece fell out looks like a guide but bigger and thicker. I though maybe the variator ate a roller but the rollers are good too. What's happened?

I don't think you can compare a drive boss to a dowel pin when it comes to size lol
