so i have a dumb ?. are those numbers(186-188, 126-128) the numbers you would want on every street engine? or as close to that as possible?....... if so, then that should mean that i could have raised my ex port another mm at least... also that this oem cylinder has ALOT or room for inprovements... i am going to get the ttransfer port numbers and see what they are.......back in a bit.......

You must look at the whole picture! The transfers never open fully so a spacer under the cylinder would raise all ports and uncover the transfers, the high end cylinder kits come with shim/spacer kits so a tuner can get the timing JUST right.Best not to try porting the transfers, better to jockey the cylinder up/or down to get the transfer #'s right, then adjust the exhaust port if needed. After the jug is raised, the squish must be reset by milling the head.Brent did his on a belt sander I think...

well the only time i ever split the cases, i used a rubber hammer and about 3 hrs time... the puller i have has standard thread bolts and i dont have any long m6-1 to use my puller unless i use the standard bolts and mess up the threads.(experianced with the magneto)... any tricks to splitting the cases with ninimul tools evidently.. ......without taking 3 hrs and a rubber mallet?

Just want to see the bottom of the cylinder area and the crankcase where the cylinder fits... Crankshafts dont like hammering, they easily get off center, best to rig up some kind of pusher to get the cases apart!

i was only tapping with the rubber mallett for sure....on the case itself...... oh, so that pic will have to be done apart i guess..... i did just sit the 70cc cyl inside the cases. it does appear to not cover the intake opening at all.. so i guess that may be a good thing.. of course i shall take a pic when its split... i did send brent 2 pics of no use i guess...just to show...

from thebatman... this is the printed degreel whee i am trying to use..it rotates counter clockwise, so i have to figure it myself...piston is at the top point of barrel and reads tdc i have seen from a build posted that josh had cut these tabs out..i will send a pic of what it looks like.... this is a pic of a zx build, it went to 125 stroker tho...i figured this is what mine should look like? ...just noticed my boost port isnt straight worth a dam...lmao this is only a rough draft of the difference in size of the boost ports...you can see the oem boost and the mark where the bbk boost port will be... hella difference in size folks

It looks like the ledge could be cut down. I'd think it would help flow to the boost port.
Have you marked for the new boost port using the new cylinder, or are you just going by other people's pics? I'd suggest not cutting anything till you can mark it to match the new cylinder, which will prob be easisest once the case is split.
