Ok so here we go.
This build will mostly be about slightly modifying the look of the scooter. I will be stretching it from the middle, adding a bike gas tank on a reinforcement bar, the wheels will go from 10 to 13 inches, a full paint job, and a new head light.
On the mechanical side, its getting a new variator Malossi Multivar. I'm still planningto add the dial-a-je kit and the oxy sensor, but those 2 thing are pretty much at the bottom of my "to do" list.
So here is the bike all stock:
And this is what i intend to do to it.
As it sits right now:
The bike originally came with a shortcase engine and 10 inches wheels witch were not optimal at 90 kmh, so when i found this donner bike ( 150cc pertutti with 1000km on it for $150) i decided to swap the engine. Next i'll cut it in half in the middle, add pipes and put back the body on it.
(Sound easy when i write it in a short sentence)
The rear 13 inches wheel was a no-brainer. The front wheel will need some mods to fit, mostly the galliper stopper.
Here is the problem:
I will have to move the hole to a lower position in order for the galliper bracket to fit, should be pretty straight and foward. (Drill, weld, bolt it back) As long as my friend Murphy dont touch ny of my stuff.
Next problem will be the wheel bearings. When i thight up the bolt, the wheel becomes stiff. So i ll have to have a look into this.
Im also looking for color/sitckers ideas for this beauty. I want to try to keep it old school, to stay away from making it a ricer, but i still want something that makes people go: WOW!!!. So im open to all sugestions
