Sorry I havn't been on the forum for a while. Sounds like you're going to make out like a bandit! Your pricing is right on for such a pristine scooter the way I see it. Hope you land the Typhoon. Same motor as my Derbi Atlantis, only my Atlantis runs 70 profile 12" tires while the Typhoon runs the Zuma-like high profile 10s.

SOLD!! $650 Wow it has been really quiet on the scooter sale this week. I ended up dropping the price down to $650 and after only a few calls in a week- bam! 5 calls just today! I'm thinking maybe peeps are getting their tax money so I need to stock up on scoots! Stepthru- just to clarify- I'm not asking $1450 for the scoot- that was the original tag still on the key from 2006. Apparantly they bought it for $1450 brand new... As usual I could've gotten more had I held out but I like to turn and burn so I sell 'em cheap! I've been averaging pretty well doubling my $$ on almost every scoot and have never lost $$ on one... stepthrutuner- did u see my flip #10? It was a Derbi Atlantis and I tried to paint it up like a Bullet... I can see the potential in those Piggy motors like u have and would love to build one up! Unfortunately I wasn't ready with the $$ quick enough and that Typhoon was sold in like two days- oh well, I have learned that there's always more deals around the corner and I'll eventually jump on a "keeper". I just emailed about six different scoots for sale. Flip #13 could be anything from a Yamaha Jog to a 2t retro to another 4t... We'll just have to see how the cookie crumbles!

Although the scoot sale went kinda slow I've been keeping myself busy with another little experiment I ran- Scoot tuning and repair. I put up an ad just to dip my toes in the water and so far have done 3 scoot jobs-
Drove out and adjusted a carb on a Zuma for $50 (literally took me longer to get the body panels off than to adjust the air screw and idle!).
$75- Picked up a 4t Peace Sports "Future Champion" and adjusted the valves and found a bend needle and got it running perfect in one night.
The other was fixing (welding) the center stand on a pre-bug zuma I sold a while back for $25
IDK if I'll keep doing the repair stuff, but so far it's been ok and the extra little $$ is nice- it payed for a few new parts for my personal scoot that's getting some upgrades...

Here's one of the scoots I'm working on getting. Unfortunately we have gymnastics tonight and a dance tomorrow night. Hard to get these scoots sometimes with a full schedule! Ad says "Razz" but it looks like a Jog to me?? tampa.craigslist.org/hil/mcy/4849510388.html

Unfortunately we have gymnastics tonight and a dance tomorrow night. You may have taken this flip thing too far at this point. You're so addicted to flips that when not flipping scoots you're doing flips on a mat or a dance floor!

Yep that's a Jog not a Razz all right. Little worn out here and there but looks like a good deal to me . Jogs around here asking $450-900.

Oh to live in the scooter paradise that South Florida is. I've seen a many very desirable scoot on CL or eBay from there. Problem was that they were 1500 miles from me here in Arkansas. I did get some body parts for my Derbi once from an eBay seller in Miami. They were pretty chalked-up from the Sun but still rubbed out and painted up well.
Also, I realized that your asking price for the Cordi was half the origional price tag. I'm sure the new owner considers $650 money well spent.
You'll get that that dream "keeper" before too long.

Op what part of the bay area are you from? Im in tarpon springs and just picked up a 100cc 2t delphino from stpete with title for 60 dollars its a little faded and needs either a cdi or stator but cant wait to get it running. That was a super clean daelum you sold there by the way.
