Please Help,
I ordered a 47mm kit on Ebay and I am having trouble where the chain is too tight. The head and jug are firmly seated and the tensioner is removed. When I put the chain on the cam it will not sit flat in the cradle. I have a stock jug and a 60cc jug and can get the chain on with them. The head is 60cc stock head that was on it and so is the chain. I can only come up with is the new jug is too tall. ANY IDEAS PLEASE HELP.

Sometimes along the way installing a kit the chain can be worked partially off of it's gear on the crank. Make sure it's seated properly there first and not binding anywhere.

I ran into that on a Kymco. I found the new head gasket was a thick composite type gasket. I had a steel shim gasket and that solved my problem. Look down at the crank and make sure chain is on there right.

Thank you for the tip. I was leaning towards the jug being too tall. The OEM metal gasket does allow it to fit like it should. It still will have plenty of valve clearance I think. I cleaned up the imperfections on the intake and exhaust ports, that did enlarge them by 1mm. I am going to run a 20mm carb, should I also enlarge the intake manifold gasket to 20mm too? With that said what jet size do you suggest given I will run 5.5g rollers and what size spring should I get for the clutch? Thanks in advance Larry
