Nice. I don't think they look bad at all. That mount looks a lot like mine is going to be. Could you tell if there is an easy mod to attach it the mirror mount point? If you look over the pics in the how-to you might get more ideas. I would say you may be able to make an adapter of some sort to fit below the mirror. The mirror mounts are usually 8mm so an 8mm bolt on one side to go where the mirror goes, threaded on top for the mirror to screw in and perhaps a bolt on the front or side for the bar to attach to. Hard to say without looking at the moutning hardware and the scoot in front of you. Wouldn't really be that hard to make your own mount for the guard to give you more options if you can weld.

I took a 20 mile ride today with temps just slightly higher than my last trip out to test the hand guards ( VID HERE). It was just barely above freezing, I think 33-34F was the high today. The handguards helped just a little, but good gloves are going to be a necessity. I may need to lower the guards a bit to make sure they block the air under the grips where my fingers rest. Not a bad idea, any wind you can block has gotta help, but not a major improvement. I checked the mail after returning home and I recieved a pair of ski pants I ordered last week. I got them large enough to go over my jeans. With shorts and those on my legs got hot after a minute or so wearing them in the house. Considering I can wear my thermals, shorts, and jeans and not get hot nearly that fast I think they might be just the ticket to alleviate my cold legs. ;D I picked them up for $50 on eBay, which is way cheaper than pants sold specifically for cold weather cycling.

Thanks for the update on your results.
I got my guards today and it is going to take a good bit of fab to get them to work. After your results i don't know if i'll bother...
I'll probably just make them a "stocking stuffer" for my brother in law's ATV.
Good news is that since they are made for a Kawasaki i have confirmed that Kymco green is an exact match to Ninja green. That'l make touch up paint easy to find.

Well, wish they worked out better for both of us... but it sounds like you got 2 good uses out of yours anyway.

I got the new gloves and liners in today, so I had to take a test ride. I was wearing a tshirt, new lined flannel, my usual riding jacket w/liner, thermal bottoms, jeans, new ski pants, regular socks, thermal socks, shoes, a neck warmer, helmet, new glove liners, and new gloves. The temp is 28 degrees with about 5MPH winds.
I rode for 30 miles, mostly doing 40-50MPH. My fingers were just starting to get cold... not painful or numb... just beginning to get cold. The thicker lined flannel and ski pants helped a lot as well. Normally I am cold for a long time after I come in the house after 20 miles of this temp. My fingers hurt, my legs are cold, etc... Tonight I came in and got out of the layers and by then I felt just fine. Quite an improvement.
My only complaint would be mobility. The gloves take away a lot of feel and they don't fit behind the handguards well. Those will have to be reajusted. Extra layers on my arms and legs really don't make me feel as confident to maneuver either, but it's better than being so cold I don't wanna move.

Thanks a lot Reg. That makes me feel just wonderful about all my layers. Good for you though. I'm very glad some of you don't have so much cold to deal with.

Reg is in Arkansas, lucky ****** lol ! 70 is a good start to winter.....lol I went out yesterday and it was nice at about mid high 20,s here. I just wear my helmet and gloves. Been out in 10-15degrees and it wasnt as bad as i expected either. (maybe that weight i gained is keeping me warm lol?) I dont ride WOT throttle tho, cant. I did sneak it up to 35-40 a couple times and i can tell ya that extended runs at speed is what will get ya. Of course its not like you can just put at 25-30mph and have fun Brent, but im sure you get my point. lol, When i start shiverin bad enough for the headlight to wobble, i know im going too fast.
