At the 4th April 2015 morning, I went on a ride to work, with my 2T scoot (Baotian BT49QT-28B). On the straight road power went away. Then I quickly turned throttle to WOT MODE and to 0, few times. Then about 3-4 seconds power was back. After work, I drove home and went up the hill - same thing happend. Well it was snowing too I reacted same way as morning - power came back. What is wrong? Now at 5th April the Power down issue hounted me again. This time it vas about 5-6 seconds. Can anyone tell me what is wrong and what to check. I do not know ... jet. Maybe: 1. Sparkplug 2. Carburettor settings 3. Fuel issue

Check connections like the plug cap, CDI, stator, and coil to make sure nothing is loose.
Is it happening during specific throttle locations... for example only WOT?

I would check my carburetor....probably dirty or water in ur fuel...use a good carb and choke cleaner to spray in the air holes with the straw that comes with the can.always have that problem if i get water on my carb

I think that POWER DOWN thing was at WOT or half trottle.
The other thing, when I was riding, i made a stop about 1 hour. When I did start the scoot, after that break, she wanted to cut out. Maybe it is, because the carb settings. When I adjusted the carb, it was I quess so called cold settings (0-8+ celcius). now is about 10+ to 15+ celcius outside.

Now I have the same problem - olny worse, I think. I changed the ignition coil and spark plug on my scoot. Now when I start the scoot, the rpm´s are high, I think this is the work of el.choke. Then the rpms go down again and motor dies. When I give throttle then it dies also. The carb is stock.

I can´t warm up the engine. When I start the scoot, the rpms go up to 4000 - 6000 and when I try to speed up the warm up, by adding throttle, the engine dies. It also dies after little while, without adding throttle. (the original carb)
Maybe the throttle has to be adjusted. I have link near the carb and second is near the handlebar. How I need to adjust both of them .
