I recently made a old cast iron jug look like brand new just by soaking it overnight in vinagar. PICTURE TIME!!!   |

It's mild acid. It also removes lime scale that accumulates on faucets and tile. If you pack vinegar soaked toilet paper onto a lime covered faucet for a while it will eat it all off.
