You can spray WD-40 into them, Blow air into them, cut them off...
Blow torch and jack hammer are not recommanded.

Easiest way it to simply cut them off with a drywall knife if they are not loose enough to be pulled off by hand.

By "grips" you mean them rubbers on the handle bar right?

I concur... Cut them off with a sharp utility knife but be careful on the throttle side. Put just enough pressure to gut through the grip. There is a plastic sleeve on that side. you don't wanna split it open. The new grips should slide on easier with some soapy water. (dish soap and water works good) The soapy water will dry eventually and the grip will be good and stuck to the bar ends.
If you use a lubricant or petroleum product like WD40 to get the grips to slide on easy thent they will also slide off easy and that's not good.

Take a can of wd40 with that little red tube and slide the tube up inside the end of the grip and just blast away. start working the grip rotationally around the handlebar while pulling and it should start to give. you can always take a knife and slice through it also.
I put my grips back on without glue of any kind and possibly even using wd40 can't remember, but they fit really well.

Who would want to save / reuse those china plastic grips anyway? Hack em off! Lazer them off!
