80cc bbk (actual 72cc) seem to be the safest choice for engine longevity without going all out on stroker cranks , big bore cyl heads etc.to run the 50+mm bbk's imo. Simply adding a 47mm (72cc) bbk & use of proper carb. Jetting/upjetting will give the best power boost for the buck . Which one to buy? Thats where you gotta do some research/ homework. To see what suits you & your budget best. They average around the $50 range. Dont get cought up in those cdi, exaust open filter combo packages they seem to be more headache then help.

Valley Scooters has been a popular source of BBKs at low prices lately. Checl the dealers section of the forum for more info. PFS , eBay, and others carry them as well.
