The petcock on my 2007 Vento Triton Li 2T is occasionally sticking closed and I want to replace it. I was wondering if anyone knows if the petcock on my model is the M16 x 1 or M14 x 1?
Thanks !

The safest route would to measure it , that way there is no guessing

I am still running on a vacuum petcock but when this one goes I am for sure switching to manual!!! (Elektrey with the enfluence!!!!)

Mine were 16 by 1.5. Best to remove it and measure. I have learned the hard way to know what you need and what you're getting before ordering!

Very true. A little measuring sometimes saves a lot of frustration and waiting on correct parts to replace the wrong ones.

Thanks for the info!
At this point I'll measure it to be sure. I was hoping to avoid draining the tank down for the measuring, but I guess is has to be done.
As for the manual petcock, I'll give a vacuum petcock another try. Everything on the scoot is stock and it runs very well so I want to avoid modifications if need be. If the new petcock fails rather quickly then a manual for sure.
Thanks again everyone !

You are correct. Mine was the 14mm x 1 as well. I installed a new one and she's back up and running. Will have to see how long it lasts. Has anyone ever purchased and tried the manual petcocks? In searching the Internet I see there are a couple available in the 14mm size. That would eliminate the need to piece something together.
