Now that I have a reliable tachometer I can see what rpms I'm pulling at speeds.
4 Stroke
38 mph (actual) = 6,000rpm
44 mph (actual) = 7,000rpm
13 inch wheels 130/60 tires
Just in case someone wants to compare.
If you want to post your rpms at those speeds that might be useful too.

Post your gear ratio as well.
54mph@9200 RPM
130/60R13
11.83:1 Gearing
EDIT: just noticed this was in 4 stroke performance. Don't see how it's 4 stroke specific though. if it's a problem let me know lol

I'll have a tough time posting my RPM at all of those speeds since I rarely go over 35MPH. I made it to 46MPH somewhere between 9,500-10,000RPM on the tuned up stock TaoTao... downhill and with a strong tailwind and tucked down. Normally I'm around 7800-8500RPM just cruising 30-35MPH. 3.50x10 tire, 11.05:1.

to say my old TaoTao with the 1p39qmb that it had on stock gearing 10" tire it did 61mph at 9,200 RPM with me being around 175 pounds

I don't see how a scooter with a designed top speed of 30-40mph would possibly have a gearing that mismatched, that's like the final gears they would put on a 150cc, but maybe not because it is designed to be run at lower rev's than 9000 might make sense. I saw the video with the GPS but honestly your GPS seems kind of fast to me, those cars don't seem to be going as fast as the GPS says idk may just be me. if the GPS says it though then its gotta be true so. sorry for being skeptical just seems high to me is it just the 50mm BBK or is there a stroker crank upgrade in there too? didn't read the whole thread. 50mm BBK is just 80cc right?

It didn't have a stroker but did have a 50mm bore. I'm skeptical of the 61mph@9000 RPM but it did look hella fast and you really kept up with traffic even overtaking so I'm thinking pretty close to 60mph. fastest 4 stroke 50cc I've seen and really impressive for not even being a stroker. +1

Elektrey is right.
I'm another skeptic. Just listening to this fellow explain, he doesn't know NEAR enough technical information to make a QMB139 that fast in my opinion. You can't just slap on a BBK on these motors and "luck" into a 61 mph 139QMB record setting rocket.
Also, when decelerating, the compression back pressure sounds far too heavy to be a 80cc motor. It's too deep and heavy. It sounds like a 150cc to me. Listen carefully to the motor and tell me what you think. I have a 50mm BBK. It does not sound that deep.
Let him do another video showing him go that fast and then without ANY breaks in the video, pull over and pan down and show the engine clearly from both sides.
At this point, I think someone put a 150cc motor in that scoot. Performs on par with a 150 also.
Finally, the recovery and acceleration at near top speeds is just too much torque for a 80cc motor. Even IF the scoot would do 61, he wouldn't be able to roll it on from say 45 and pull that hard with a 50mm BBK. Sorry.

I'm changing my final drive gears soon and I might be lucky to hit 50. Mine is not a 50mm though. it's 47mm. Still, that's a lot of big sound on the back pressure and I agree with you. In comparison to the way mine sounds and what I've heard from 150s, it sounds more like a 150. Who knows though. Take a steady video shot like humanshield mentioned earlier, Scoot. Prove to us its a BBK and not a stock 150. Shut us up for good and tell me where the hell you bought that bike. lol.

here is another video of the engine but its from the burn out blow out video. ( someone PLEASE look at the ENGINE MOUNTING and the air box good enough ) www.youtube.com/watch?v=FpkucPhMwGA (custom performance variator 7g sliders) help out a lot by the way (bigger exhaust pipe) (blue cdi box) (hot wire) (Iridium Spark Plugs) (A9 cam) (50mm big bore 69mm valve head) (22mm carb) (modified stock air box) (((( DID HAVE 2 OTHER CUSTOM PARTS )))) (NO STROKER CRANK) (NO BIG VALVE HEAD)

Nice video but... Sorry. Nothing in that video that proves that that scooter with a 139QMB will hit 61.

DOES NOT get you to 61 mph
A lot of guys posting here have done FAR more to their scoots including stroker cranks and other specialty mods based on extensive knowledge and experience and have barely reached those speeds with a 139QMB. Especially with the torquey acceleration the other video showed at what appeared to be 40 and above acceleration. But I am beginning to believe you might have a promising career in theatrics.
You PROVE to me beyond a doubt that you have a 139QMB based scooter with the mods you listed that will hit an honest 61 and I will send you a free, brand new alarm system for your scooter or motorcycle that has two remotes. ($40 value) Or a free really nice scooter cover (also $40 value). I'll even cover the shipping. Get busy.

I don't have any pictures of video to prove it though. Just trust me. Now send me some free stuff.
