I believe so. Sometimes there is also a stamp by on the rear, by where you fill up the transmission.

I'm hoping that someone else will chime in here on this because I don't feel comfortable telling you that it will fit.

Looks kind of like a Morini but the Morini oil pump is behind the magneto. Kymco may have their own design???

Thanks derbiman for the reply. After reading this: scootdawg.proboards.com/thread/56969/ridiculous"found a great manual for the super 9 but there some major differences from the minarelli and clone minarelli the cylinder is slanted up and the oil pump is by the reed block and the starter look like a gy6 Bendix and it on the bottom not top some cool info if anyone wants to read www.scribd.com/doc/18292347/Kymco-Super-9-50-EN " "ya its a derivative, definitely not the same exact thing. Kymco is weird how they change little things but utilize old designs into the new design. I forget if we were able to use the mina exhaust right now, I thought for certain we used a C20 or C21 on it but Ill have to call my neighbor. Definitely same bbk as the mina. Its a lot like how gears from a 80s earlier model engine work on the AF16/AF18 derived zx50 but not primary gears from a af16/18. You can make it work by changing the whole set together but stock they wont work , yet the different style engine gears drop in. Either way the engine isnt the vertical style and it is horizontal and you need to look for parts for this style. " I guess it's Kymco's way of being difficult. But I'll now say that Minarelli parts will fit. Boy, those damn Kymco's are a pain in the butt.
